A hotel in Arosa, in the eastern Swiss canton of Graubünden, has made international headlines for displaying signs singling out Jewish guests by asking them to shower before using the swimming pool.
The sign, displayed at the Aparthaus Paradies, was photographed by an Israeli family who were visiting the hotel, reported Swiss and international press including The Jerusalem Post.
To our Jewish Guests. Please take a shower before you go swimming and although [sic] after swimming, it said in English. If you break the rules, Im forced to cloes [sic] the swimming pool for you. Thank you for understanding.
It was signed Ruth Thomann, whose name is listed on the hotels website as the main contact.
A second sign asked Jewish guests to access the hotel fridge at set times only.

How are their muzzie “guests” workin’ out?
Ping.
They got their good Semites bad Semites confused.
*SIGH*
Perhaps the Mossad might pay a visit...
I remind everyone to shower before getting into our condo swimming pool. It does not matter what race or religion. There is one older person who does some weights in the gym and then dives into the pool, unwashed and sweating. I guess some people will be uncivilized no matter what.
This is that canton
Downtown, I guess:
Must have been an ongoing issue with Jewish people not showering before going into the pool. Should have just made a sign telling everyone MUST shower before getting into the pool though.
no this was an insinuation...anti-Semitism is on the rise in europe
Or maybe they just had some trouble with a specific group of people not showering before using the pool.
Dang, I suddenly wonder if the old Shirley Temple “Heidi” was filmed there after all.
(Probably an indoor set in California, but the set designer obviously saw a scene lie this at some point.)
Or maybe they didn’t.
Did they tell them, “It’s only a shower.”
Quite possible: In my corner of Germany (Schwarzwald), b&b operators have had great trouble contending with "Israeli" guests who didn't know how to, e.g., separate waste streams or otherwise conform to basic standards of behavior - to the point that they have begun refusing to accept reservations from guests from Israel.
Of course, the articles describing this problem never choose to more-precisely identify the "Israeli" tourists (who are, in fact, probably not Jewish).
Regards,
Sometimes a shower is just a shower.
Sweat is sterile. There are much worse things a person can be covered with.
Ewww! I used to love swimming pools, but now I’m beginning to get grossed out just thinking about them.
I’ll have to get my own private one in the back yard of my Beverly Hills estate! :)
