A game changer in medicine if the science and device survive testing. That of course is a BIG IF. Still a refreshing news item coming out of a college campus instead of advancement in football or safe spaces for snowflakes.

Very important medical breakthrough.
But the headline is, well, provocative.

Star Trek. Patient needed a kidney. One little pill from Bones and she was cured.
If this works, that’s one giant step towards that type of reality.

Tissue Nanotransfection (TNT) Hmm... sounds like genetic engineering, to me. The word "transfection" refers to a process to introduce foreign DNA into a cell.
So, I would have to ask, what is the risk of the nanodevices triggering cancer?

Anyone with any medical knowledge know if this should give our brain injured warriors (and brain injured non warriors like myself) any hope?
BTW, brain injury is SO MUCH MORE than cognitive loss.
The ongoing symptoms are horrific.
Mine have healed enough to at least live life a little.
Many of our soldiers haven’t.

This is HUGE if it works. But, imagine the side effect of growing a third arm, or leg, or an eye in the middle of the forehead!!!
Caitlyn Jenner could use this technology to grow a new willie, thus go back to being Bruce.

This is really interesting. Am I the only one whose spidey sense is tingling here? Whether it’s the odd choice of acronym, the almost impossibly good news, or the very vague description, something doesn’t quite look right here. If you Google it, a lot or more-or-less reputable outlets have covered this within the last day, but also some 4-channers are thinking that it is either a hoax or else a wild claim that will be retracted.
Might be a good time to trust but verify.

we can grow the elements of any organ that is declining I know lots of girls specializing in that very thing.
