It seems Donald Trump can hardly go anywhere without creating an awkward moment, and his latest has been directed at Frances new First Lady Brigitte Macron.
The US president and his wife Melania had just finished a museum tour of Les Invalides with the Macrons, and were saying their parting farewells when Donald approached Brigitte.
Looking her up and down, he tells the 63-year-old former teacher that shes in such good shape before turning to her husband and repeating shes in such good physical shape
beautiful.

You should take your own advice.
truth is truth. if people find truth spoken awkward it’s their problem.
I was a young child and my grandpa asked me at the dinner table what was new today. I told him i learned how to put on a bra because I watched my mom today. Everyone laughed. It was yet another example in my few years of life to me to hide truth and not speak my mind when asked. It helped create problems for me with my family rather than everyone just deal in truths without feelings and perceptions in the way.
Macron’s wife looks to be fit/in good shape for her age, Trump just spoke truth. In my opinion she’s too unhealthy skinny, maybe over exercises. The difference between toned firm muscles and tight over overworked muscles.
I agree. Yuk!
I tell people I'm 80 and get lotsa compliments!!
...shes “in such good shape” before turning to her husband and repeating shes in such good physical shape

Give me a break. There ain’t a single solitary thing wrong with saying that. In my world it’s called a compliment.
I would appreciate that comment.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
It was actually classy on President Trump’s part. Macron’s wife gets a lot of criticism for being much older. Trump validated her and Macron and showed respect in a very French way.
Plus Trump solidified the US cougar vote haha
Naturally, the media is all “attwitter” and “abuzz” with this “shocking” revelation about Trump.
Anything they can do to trash him, they will do.
Remember a time when you could say “You look good” to a woman at work and not get fired?
Yuk, her face looks like an old shoe.
And I find that overly skinny thing a total turnoff. I prefer women with some meat to them, vs skin and bones.
That was Bill Clinton being honest. After all, he is married to a female Bozo the Clown that cackles.
At least a mummified woman is quiet and doesn’t throw lamps.
When “ma’am” comes from a male employee, it makes you feel old. When it comes from a female employee, it feels like an insult. I saw a woman standup comedian talking about this once, the snotty tone female workers get when they say things to customers like, “MA’AM! I’m on a personal call right now. You’ll have to wait, MA’AM.” The comedian said “ma’am” is code word for *itch, and we all know it.
Wasn’t the press saying what great legs she had a week or so ago? It is just none stop Trump bashing.
All the PC FReepers are amusing. You’ve got it right. Be yourself and let the chips fall where they may. It’s not like he has anything to prove.
Trump is 70. She is 63. She just walked him around a museum. I am sure he is tired and she is not. The comment is fine.
I seem to remember Theresa May making a comment that she liked Trump’s hands (a clear reference to Megyn Kelly’s interview with Howard Stern where she equated the size of a man’s hands to the size of...).
But one thing I don’t remember is any media outrage of PM May ‘objectifying’ a man. Mmmm - imagine that.
And she looks every damned day of 63.
Why sugar coat it?
And why even give a rat's ass?
The media idiots will find something...no matter what.
A compliment to a lady...ooohh...evil!
Yeah, before the uLara radical feminists went ballistic. I dunno but even as a guy I would rather a woman compliment me than creepily stare.
I haven’t been slapped yet for complimenting a woman,no matter how “awkward” I phrased it.
