NH Driver Stopped With Mountain of Items Strapped to Minivan

This is how not to pack your car for your holiday weekend travel plans.
New Hampshire State Police issued a warning Wednesday about driving with items strapped to a car after a trooper stopped a driver on Interstate 93 with a wide variety of items strapped to it.
Advertisement Thomas McNeil, 57, of Belmont, was driving a white 2003 Honda Odyssey north on I-93 around 6:30 a.m. when Trooper Nicholas Iannone pulled him over to prevent a potential traffic crash.
Furniture, bicycles and boxes were just a few of the items apparently strapped to the roof. A wheeled basket dangled over the back window, and a furniture dolly was hanging against a driver's side window.
State police said the load was secured with electric cords and some rope.

I am also a stubborn SOB when it comes to making more than one trip. I would carry four bags of groceries and 4/8 packs of 16 oz sodas, all at the same time just to avoid making another trip. (When I was 35 years younger...) And it was a long hike and up the stairs to boot!

About four years ago I had one roll right past me.
Lucky it was a light traffic day.
I’ve also had box trailers go over on their side and block three out of four lanes.
Last one I was lucky. I got by on the inside shoulder.

Double bottom metal scrap trailers I’ve seen go over.
Worst was a pair of dual wheels crossing the median headed my way.
At least the double bottom gasoline delivery trucks are gone.
