The FOX News host is refusing to stop his investigation into the grisly murder of Seth Rich.
Sean Hannity, FOX News host went out on a limb Tuesday in defense of his coverage, calling his critics "phony hypocrites." Hannity wants to know who killed Seth Rich, even if the mainstream media and his own colleagues want him to stop.
The murder of Seth Rich, a young Democratic National Committee staffer, has inspired a lot of speculation in the right-wing media and on FOX, the gist of which is that he was murdered by Democratic operatives as revenge for being a whistleblower who delivered the notorious DNC emails to WikiLeaks. If Rich were the leaker, the thinking goes, there wouldn't have been any Russian hacking, therefore the entire investigation into the Trump campaign's Russian connections would be nonsense.
But the theory is bigger than any one figure—it's so huge it has its very own subreddit.
Hannity spent much of Tuesday tweeting about Rich. His big "source" is Kim Dotcom, a New Zealand webpreneur. Dotcom has been claiming for days that he knew Rich, and that he has information that proves Rich had delivered a collection of DNC emails to WikiLeaks. On Tuesday, what was revealed was a blog post at Dotcom's website, Kim.com, about a person in 2014 who went by "Panda" chatting with Dotcom about "corruption and the influence of corporate money in politics." Dotcom claims that Panda was Rich and hinted vaguely about more to be revealed in the future. On Tuesday night, Hannity is scheduled to interview Dotcom on his show.
Throughout Tuesday afternoon, Hannity carried on talking about the Seth Rich case on his radio show. Times.
"I am not FOX.com or FOXNews.com. I retract nothing," he told listeners.

Very possible. They did more than just threaten his job, and he loves his family. I don’t blame him. They may have threatened The Rich family, too. Really perilous times we are living in these days.
Just because “official” stories are often wrong does not mean that every made-up story is right. Facts and evidence matter. Spewing stuff without evidence is called fiction writing. There is enough of that in journalism.
Hannity brought it to light and lit the fuse someone else now will pick it up and run it down field

That's how they got O'Reilly. Once the advertisers bailed, the show couldn't go on. Hannity has had a target on his back at Fox for a while now. His days are numbered.

Hannity is hopping mad on Twitter right now saying that Soros declared war on Fox due to the Seth Rich story and forced Fox to stop him (Hannity). Another Twitter posts says Soros called off the “dogs” because they have won because Fox caved. Sean said he’s not quitting. I think he is just doing a “back up and punt”.

Every real journalist at Fox needs to do an on air resignation and collude with the Trump administration so that the government is being shut down on the same day. The right is almost out of weapons. The media is entirely untrustworthy and yes, that includes fox
I remember when they shut down Dennis Michael Lynch when he was live on his show.
Newsmax was rabid anti Trump. Lynch was a big Trump supporter. Talked about Clinton/Obama a lot on his show, and was basically told to knock it off or they’d cut him off, live if they had too.
And Newsmax did just that.
