The prime time program shuffle resulting from the Bill O'Reilly departure from Fox News Channel is seriously flawed, and will fail quickly with a massive loss of viewers of "The Five".....now slated for the 9:00PM time slot. The show is boring, with only one member of "The Five" worth her salt {KG), and, it is not Dana Perino, who is terrible. The three males are losers with little substance. Bob Beckel and Juan Williams are not dummies...but 100% empty suits!!!
The winning line up would be:
- Martha McCallum at 7:00PM - Tucker Carlson at 8:00PM - Jesse Watters at 9:00PM - Sean Hannity at 10:00PM
A winning combination, IMHO!!!
FOX IS DEAD. RIP
A collection of dunderheads; don’t watch; never will.
Ripe for a Trump takeover.
I for one will not watch it.
Of course; I’ve not watched Fox News for years and years, so there’s that.
But I remain unanimous in my decision to still not watch Fox News.
The Five isn’t that bad actually and the liberals, Beckel and Juan Williams, usually get beat up on it.
I agree...100%!! The Murdoch family has gone over to Satan, Obama!!! Time for an honest, truthful, loyal 100% Conservative Cable Channel!!!
NO KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agree! I listen to “The Five” more than I watch it, as background drivel while I’m doing something else like reading, surfing the ‘Net or hobby stuff. Half the time I can’t stand the more liberal panel members or discussion. It’s not meant for prime time viewing. Don’t like Dana Perino, Juan Williams or Bob Beckel. Dana simply because of her speech patterns which are irritating.
Sharyl Attkisson or Larry Klayman with a team of investigators would be must watch TV.
Tucker is fine at 8. I would hire Mark Steyn for a new show at 9. But it’s not going to happen. The Murdoch boys swing left.
I never watched OReilly. I always thought he was a blowhard. I don’t think the five is going to last long at 9. I wish they would actually have a newscast at 9 or 11.
The only thing I have to take issue with you on:
“Bob Beckel and Juan Williams are not dummies.”
OANN.
I quit watching Fox during the campaign with its never ending anti-Trump stuff. Hannity has good info, but it’s buried under mountains of his repetitious stuff. Never liked BOR. Carlson doesn’t seem capable of shutting up libs.
The Five is absolutely horrible. Guttfeld thinks he’s clever, Perino is a Trump hater, Bolling is ok, but boring, and the libs are just insane.
Dana Perino is all ego and no brains...she is love with herself....the idiot loves her dog more than anyone else!!! Bob Beckel is a total buffoon.....Juan
Williams is lost-at-sea, Eric Bolling has no backbone, and is weak in the knees. Greg Gutfeld has a screw loose. The only one that rates an “A” is Kimberly Guilfoyle!!!
I think he was tied tight to O'Reilly so it will be interesting to see how he fits in at FOX in the post O'Reilly world.
Although I would have preferred Dobbs, I think The Five will do well.
Hannity should review Morning Joe and, today’s blitzer around 3:00pm PDT. It appears The Left has determined his head is next, as the (Trump’s) ‘one friend left’ on Fox.
So, are we just going to sit here, or is it about time we starting swamping sponsors with emails and phonecalls, too?
I’ve liked Dana since she was Bush’s press secretary, and that hasn’t changed. Kim is a perfect fit for the “legs” position. Eric Bolling is good and might be the best replacement for O’Reily, while Greg Gutfeld is clever but lacks gravitas.
Juan Williams is adequate for providing ‘balance,’ while Beckel looks and acts like Jabba the Hutt, and Geraldo is a self-aggrandizing drama queen.
Speaking as a faithful viewer of The Five, I think moving the show to nine is a mistake, too. My viewing habits during primetime do not have room for political yakfests.
Sure, I can record the prime time Five for watching at a later time, but The Five though great when viewed more or less live, just like all news shows has a short-time sell-by date.
AGREED! I can’t STAND “The Five.” It’s an AWFUL program.
Your proposed schedule would be a good one, though I would put Hannity back at 9pm, and Jesse at 10pm.
