50 Years of "Star Trek" The original Series - My Sweet 16
Nothing like a lingering Sunday martini brunch... to bring out nostalgia--
And this Sunday my mind goes back 50 years... to watching the oiginal "Star Trek"
And here are my Sweet 16... Best Episodes:
Good choices, I’d call BS if Forever wasn’t at the top.
What?! No love for 'And the Children Shall Lead' with attorney Melvin Belli in a ...shower curtain... and several annoying kids taking over the Enterprise!?
My wife and I, and 15-year old daughter watch Star Trek every Saturday night, at 9:00 sharp.
I am just thrilled my 15-year old (or any teenager for that matter) digs the original Star Trek shows.
(I have to admit, sometimes I watch Wonder Women, which comes on just before Star Trek on METV - mainly just to ogle Linda Carter. Is that wrong?)
Great list! ‘City on the Edge of Forever’ number one for sure!!!!! I’d move ‘A Piece of the Action’ up a few spots tho.
I think "Balance Of Terror" was one of the best.Agreed.A well-written, well-acted episode without any of the goofiness you find in some ST episodes.
It was a loose adaptation of a World War 2 movie about a US Navy Destroyer vs a German submarine.
One of my favorite all time movies! I wonder how many times I have watched it since the first time I saw it?
Can’t complain with your list. Definitely agree with #1
The Menagerie had a Gal ,
a little Red head with
Unusually Strong Female “ impulses “
Love Her!
No Omega Glory? The E plebnista is not Satisfied.
thanx
Kinda reminds me of Lady GagGag
For extra credit, Bender2, who was the actress who played the "simple cat"? (Hint - she was a Playboy Playmate!)
Best 10:
10. Enterprises incident
9. Naked Time (I’ll take you home again Kathleen )
8. Amok Time
7. Journey To Babel (surgically altered to look like an Endorean)
6. Mirror Mirror (Spock with a beard)
5. Galileo 7
4. Devil In The Dark (I’m a doctor not a bricklayer )
3. Balance of Terror. (You and I are of a kind. In a different reality, I could have called you friend.)
2. City On The Edge Of Forever (lets get the hell out of here)
1 The Doomsday Machine (don’t you think I know that??)
