President Donald Trump continued to nurse a grudge against the Freedom Caucus as he lashed out against the ultra-right wing of the Republican Party on Twitter Monday, while also promising cooperation from the Democrats on health care.
Earlier Monday, White House spokesman Sean Spicer suggested Trump might turn to members of the Democratic Party to overhaul Obamacare and the U.S. president seconded that notion on Twitter Monday night.
Trump said the Freedom Caucus of the GOP, known as a particularly right-wing segment of Republican lawmakers, snatched “defeat from the jaws of victory” after Trump-backed health care legislation was pulled off the table on Friday in an embarrassing moment for the party.

Regardless of what we all might like in a particular Bill, the president cannot have the country run by 15 or 20 members of the House of Representatives. It’s simply not possible and those 20 members cannot pass anything through our government.
They already HAD a compromise bill a year or two ago! Ryancare was nothing but Obamacare with the blame shifted to Republicans.
I haven’t sold him out yet... I’m watching. He happens to be the only hope I have for America... I never expected to see him tweet those words against the conservative branch.. and not openly hold ryan accountable. He has to know who his enemies are ... he already knows who supports him.. and it isn’t the dems. He has done things before and redeemed himself. I give him room.. but he’s better know what he is doing.. The art of the deal had better be his strong suit in this equation.
I disagree that this is “Trump v. Cruz 2.0,” as the “replacement” health care bill was not that different from the original. You know, if Obama had presented the Trump-Ryan bill instead of the ACA not one Republican would have supported it; so, why this insistence that the GOP accept it now?
Point is that it sounds like this new health bill is being negotiated from the start by all the major players, not like Ryancare that was drafted and then forced down everyone’s throats.

Tell me how you will handle all the people on Medicare (you know that other Government Health Plan that has to go based on the Constitution)
