RIP.
I always liked his commentaries and insight. Seemed like a nice fellow.
Sad news.

RIP. Always a gentleman. Never saw him preach or get political unlike the other guy.

Classy man from the only indespensible channel at my house. RIP Mr. Osborne. I’ll miss you.

Oh, that is sad. I love my old movie fix. The pre smut and profanity days.
I liked Osbourne’s commentary. I noticed he hadn’t been on for awhile.

I’d keep the channel on TCM in between movies just to listen to him give some insight and tell stories about what I just watched. A class guy.

So sorry to hear that. Mr. Osborne was great and a class act.
Now I guess we’re stuck with more of that lefty Ben Mankiewicz.

RIP. I really enjoyed his interviews with golden age stars.
The one with Lauren Bacall comes to mind.
To: freedomson
Ben Mankiewicz is a loony leftist that co hosted the Young Turks election coverage. I’ll pass on his commentary
To: freedomson
RIP Robert. I’ve wondered about his health for sometime now due too his absences.

Oh no! I love TCM and am so sad to see this news.
To: freedomson
I smell a new gig for Mark Steyn, maybe they can buy his CRTV contract! Maybe he and the commie can have some debates where, if fair, Mark will generally prevail.
I know, highly unlikely.....
To: freedomson
TCM is the channel I watch the most, and I always enjoyed his commentary. Many of his anecdotes were first hand. He will be missed.

Many a times, Osborne would reel me in to watching a film I had never seen before and likely never would have, with his pre-movie commentary.
A Face in the Crowd comes to mind. So does Duck Soup.
