NBCs Chicago franchise justified its continued expansion Wednesday night. Premiering off a three-way crossover event, Chicago Justice the fourth installment in Dick Wolfs Chicago televisual universe debuted to a quite solid 1.7 in the 18-49 demographic and 8.73 million viewers at 10 p.m. Chicago P.D. led into Justice with a way-up-from-its-usual 1.9 in the demo and 9.6 million viewers. Chicago Fire led off the night with a 1.7 and 9.06 million viewers.
ABC moved Modern Family back half an hour in an attempt to provide miniseries When We Rise with a bit of a boost. It didnt quite work: While Modern Family notched a 2.0 in the demo and 6.37 million viewers, When We Rise continued to falter with a 0.6 demo rating and 2.05 million viewers, lower than its premiere on Monday. The Goldbergs led into Modern Family with a 1.7 and 6.12 million viewers.
They more or less tried playing with something that is played out already. It’s already normal to have homosexual characters on a TV Show.
didn’t watch when we rise because I knew from the advertising it was propaganda for the democratic party.... I am guessing a lot of television watchers realized that
...I think the homo execs at ABC guessed wrong...
The same ABC execs who bet on Hillary.
2/3 of their audience turned the channel when the “home roots” came on.
Most people are tired of protests just for the sake of making news. I suspect even the majority of democrats are ‘full up’ with the futile ranting and raving. Those still getting paid for their performances, that’s another thing entirely.
I thought the homosexuals had their own tv channel and shows. Why isn’t this on their own network? Oh yeah, recruitment.
More at obligatory.
It seems that every series must have at least one interracial couple, the lesbian kiss +, and now the gay kiss +.
Is the mandatory tranny be next?
Pedos shall be next.
What I don’t understand is that I, an average nobody in America, can tell if a TV show or movie is going to be a hit by simply listening to or reading a description of it. I don’t have special powers. I just have common sense. Why is it that these Hollywood executives are so clueless?
That is how Libs work. They are never satisfied, even when given their own ‘little acre’. Once that get that, they desire to expand and intrude into other areas. Inch by inch.
It is just like Pubbies trying to satiate the Dems/Media. It never works. The worst thing possible is for a Republican adminstration to give the Dems/Media a scalp. That only increases the feeding frenzy.
Already there. CBS’s new lawyer series Doubt.
Polyamory and Polygamy first. It’s already happening, of course. Once you establish the idea of “loving” multiple people at one time, even without the benefit of marriage, while having secured same-sex relationship enshrinement in state law and culture you guarantee that the idea that everyone is sexual all the time can be related to the young as well.
The final push for accepted pedophilia will come about the same time a push for bestiality does. Bestiality is bizarre, disgusting, but it will be packaged as non-threatening to people. In other words, what will be said will be, “Well, I think it’s pretty weird, but no person is being hurt and if the animal is okay with it, then why should we care?” This will unfold concurrently with the push for accepted pedophilia so that people will naturally say, “Well, I think they’re really young, but at least that’s two people and not something weird like a person and an animal.” In other words, pedophilia will be held up as the more normal of the two behaviors because both participants will be human beings and all human beings are sexual creatures, blah, blah, blah. This will inevitably lead to both behaviors being normalized and accepted in any case.
The shooting of perverts - or the return of Christ - has to happen before that. I’m just saying. . .
Yeah. CAncelled after two episodes.
Chicago justice ... an oxymoron?
"Doubt" tried that. If you blinked you missed the entire two episodes the series ran before it was cancelled.
Must have been because of Elliot Gould. Every time I see him I think of the goofy paratroop major in A Bridge to Far. Comicvrelief in a serious film.
The Chicago Triplets were so great last night. NBC finally has their acts together. ABC is in the crapper as always......they are good with comedies though....The Middle, The Goldbergs, American Housewife, Last Man Standing.
Already there. CBSs new lawyer series Doubt.
Cancelled after 2 episodes.
Dick Wolf’s “Law And Order: SVU” is the longest-running show on television after the original L&O.
Great cast, good writing, excellent storylines.
“Ripped from the headlines.” Set in NYC and the other three shows are set in Chicago.
