It took minutes, not hours, for top congressional Democrats to call on Trump's Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign on Wednesday evening after the WaPo reported that he had allegedly met with the Russian ambassador in the months before the election, meetings that Sessions did not disclose during his confirmation hearings.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) led the effort late on Wednesday night, accusing Sessions of "lying under oath" during confirmation proceedings about his contacts with the Russians.
"Jeff Sessions lied under oath during his confirmation hearing before the Senate. Under penalty of perjury, he told the Senate Judiciary Committee, 'I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I did not have communications with the Russians.' We now know that statement is false," Pelosi said in a statement. She then added that "The Attorney General must resign. There must be an independent, bipartisan, outside commission to investigate the Trump political, personal and financial connections to the Russians.”

The DOJ just released a statement clarifying that Sessions met with twenty-five ambassadors from other countries last year.
Completely within the lawful exercise of Sessions’ duties as a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
The real problem is the 10 billion dollars the Democrat party wasted to try and get Hillary Clinton elected. The donors need an explanation from the Democrap party or assassinations of leftist Clinton Foundation fund raisers by foreign countries will become “de rigeur.”
The Russian story of influencing Hillary’s non election is a cover meme for wasting all that money which showed absolutely no results; the truth is : the only thing that the Democrat party is good for, wasting money. Now such foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation as China, and Russia themselves have too late discovered the truth about Democrats.But at least Russian managed to get a US Uranium mine for their investment.
The larger beneficiaries are the jingoistic, propagandist Main Stream Media, whose coffers are now so full they will not abandon their failed patrons. And now they too are collapsing in failure.

We are watching the collapse of the liberal fascist left of the Dem party into the dust bin of history, along with the media whose lies can no longer support them. No one will be willing to give them a red cent for at least a generation.

Sessions should simply tell then all to stick it.Recusing himself is too high a price to pay to stay on the good side of Congress critters. Resigning is out of the question.

Remember the left’s battle cry: “The nature of the evidence is irrelevant; it’s the seriousness of the charge that matters.” You simply need to make a harsh, totally unfounded charge, and that’s reason enough to investigate. Because of that liberal guiding tenet, this non-story will not die.
All that needs to happen is to do what 0’s Administration did: Self-review and a week later say your self-investigation “found absolutely no inappropriate activity.”

Also, where can I find information on members of Congress (other than Jeff Sessions) meeting with foreign ambassadors. Something tells me Nancy Pelosi probably met the Russian Ambassador sometime in 2016, too.

Just take sanctions off Russia now and let them scream. It’s not like they’re working anyways. Never resign, never admit fault, EVER. Going further, please start an investigation into Clinton, their foundations. Start going after Democrats and the John McCain’s of the world. Put the weight of the federal government behind investigating all these people and in prison them. If they want a pardon don’t give them one, let them pay the penalty and die in prison if they must.
