Was he just a prop to be exploited for photo-ops by an uncaring politician owner? Sure looks that way – the “great animal lover” Obama didn’t take Bo with him to Palm Springs, and now the Obamas have jetted off to the Caribbean for x weeks, with not the slightest hint that Obama misses Bo, or even remembers him. There’s not even any suggestion that Bo will move to Chicago with them. Poor dog – Bo is a nice animal, and deserves an owner who actually cares – not just to be kicked to the curb as soon as his “owner” no longer needs him around for photo-ops.
I used to own one. Best dog I ever had.

As a southern white male I am offended that Obama named his dog “bo” and demand he rename the dog. Is he implying that white males are dogs ! This is an outrage and certainly not politically correct. Why was Bo not taken on the vacation, is it because he is expected as a southern Bo to be excluded ? Does Bo have to sit in the back of the bus when Obama travels ? This will not stand !

And Betty Currie took Socks the cat after the Clintons left the White House. It was pretty appropriate that she took the poor puss, seeing as she was the pussy enabler for Bubba in the White House.

Lots of assumptions here. Maybe the dog is being cared for by professional caretakers.
I don’t know where Bo is. I do not think they are moving to Chicago any time soon. I believe they are renting a house in DC so the younger girl can stay in her school.
Possibly Bo is being well cared for, and there is nothing to worry about.

The only “Bo” I knew was Bo Derek. That Bo was definitely not a man and not a dog.
