Going back to 1926, Washington (still) has never beat Alabama.
I know it’s strange, but I’m a Tennessee fan that roots for Alabama when they aren’t playing the Vols...
Could it be a rematch of last year’s championship?
Was it just me, or did you also see a pathetic pass offense? Defense on both sides seemed good. But, passing accuracy by Washington was rather sad.
I didn’t really relax until maybe 3 minutes left.
I had a strong feeling that Washington would win. Maybe just fear.
Oh!
How I hate...
Roll Tide, Roll!
Yea, Alabama! Drown ‘em Tide!
Every ‘Bama man’s behind you;
Hit your stride!
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave!
And if a man starts to weaken,
That’s a shame!
For ‘Bama’s pluck and grit
Have writ her name in crimson flame!
Fight on, fight on, fight on, men!
Remember the Rose Bowl we’ll win then!
Go, roll to victory,
Hit your stride,
You’re Dixie’s football pride, Crimson Tide!
Alabama’s defense is an amazing thing to behold.
As with most things, more is not better.
There used to be about 5 major bowls at the end of the season. A couple of years ago, I counted 50. 50 bowls! Half of them play teams that are in the 6-6 win-lose range. Why would a team that only won half of its games be ‘honored’ with a bowl appearance?
Alabama welcomes the Washington Huskies to SEC West-style football. Enjoy your visit, Huskies.

Rollllllllllllll Tide Role....have just opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate......both the end of 2016 and the Tide going to the Championship game again!!!!!
A good win by fake college students over students who - under Peterson - are mostly legitimate college students.
Washington jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter but then the Crimson Tide, led by young quarterback Jalen Hurts, 18, came roaring back and controlled the rest of the game.
...
Well, they were led by their defense and running game, but that’s a minor technicality.
Screw Bama
I’ll be glad when Satan retires
No New Year’s bowls today cause it’s Sunday.
Bama and Clemson in the title game.
