To the left (and to many of the #Nevertrumpers) military service is proof of instability and a disqualifyer for leadeship outside of the military.
How bout that “heavily” far left, Islamic and/or black “influence” of the past 8 years?

The military is about the only respected part of the Fed gov these days. The Dems will have a hard time blocking these nominations.
Actually, most military leaders are more hesitant to get us in a military conflict. History proves this. They understand the real cost of war.
And I don’t believe you could find more of a warmongerer than Hillary Clinton.
So Trump hires generals who have actually held executive positions to run executive departments. Why was there no outcry about Obama hiring nothing but lawyers who had little or no executive experience?

The father of our country was a general. First is war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen.
Trump is looking for experienced leadership with acute organizational skills. He’s doing just fine. Pure blooded and loyal.
Hussein’s social experiment is coming to an end. And the Generals are just the beginning, we need to clear out the muzzies next..

If anything we need more generals. I am tired of people who’ve never served in the military serving in key security positions.

Homeland Security needs military experience. Like the other poster pointed out, not sycophants with no experience in the field they are being appointed to..
As an employee of DHS and a retired Marine, I applaud this pick.
