It has recently been revealed that on a trip to Saudi Arabia, former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received a half- million dollars worth of jewels from Saudi King, Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. The Department of State recently stated that these gifts were received in 2012 during her visit.

5 U.S. Code § 7353 - Gifts to Federal employees
“Except as permitted by subsection (b), no Member of Congress or officer or employee of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch shall solicit or accept anything of value from a person—.....”
I suspect if the value is less than $25 he can accept it, so any necklaces or bracelets of string and dried polished camel dung it would probably be exempt. Otherwise, it should go to the treasury.
As far as she-who-was-named-after-an-obscure-beekeeper-from-New-Zealand it would apply as well.

The GW Bush Presidential Library includes EVERY gift he was given by foreign dignitaries. GW considered these to be gifts to the American public.
