White House starts moving Obama’s records to Sh*tcargo
[Pay any taxes on that loot ?]
Taxes are only for peons... and Donald Trump!
Where the Jewelry is Now
While many dignitaries traveling abroad often receive lavish gifts, the amount and type of jewelry Secretary Clinton received is staggering even by these standards. The United States Constitution strictly prohibits employees of the government from keeping gifts that total more than $350. In many parts of the world, especially in Asia and the Middle East, to reject such gifts is often seen as an insult. The United States Government said Secretary Clinton did accept the gifts to avoid any embarrassment. Although Secretary Clinton has the option of buying the jewelry, it was later stated by government officials that these gifts were being donated to the General Services Administration.
You can’t even buy your federal regulator lunch without running afoul of the federal ethics laws . . . and he can take jewels worth who knows how much????
5 U.S. Code § 7353 - Gifts to Federal employees
“Except as permitted by subsection (b), no Member of Congress or officer or employee of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch shall solicit or accept anything of value from a person.....”
I suspect if the value is less than $25 he can accept it, so any necklaces or bracelets of string and dried polished camel dung it would probably be exempt. Otherwise, it should go to the treasury.
As far as she-who-was-named-after-an-obscure-beekeeper-from-New-Zealand it would apply as well.

“As a condition, and in consideration, of my employment in the United States Government in a position invested with the public trust, I commit myself to the following obligations, which I understand are binding on me and are enforceable under law:
“1. Lobbyist Gift Ban. I will not accept gifts from registered lobbyists or lobbying organizations for the duration of my service as an appointee. ...”
That’s what I thought should be the case.
If Obama claims they were gifts to him personally, then he should be impeached for it. He cannot accept that much value as gifts. I think the limit is $50 of value.
The GW Bush Presidential Library includes EVERY gift he was given by foreign dignitaries. GW considered these to be gifts to the American public.
Somehow doubt Obama will do that...
I just now read the article. It says they do belong to fedgov. They are being moved to storage in Chicago, and will later be moved to the Obama Presidential Library.
My bad.
Sell all the crap. This traitor and fool ran the country into about $9 trillion more debt. These grifters should be in prison. What a worthless mess this idiot is.
“By law”...
LOL, like laws apply to Democrat politicians!
Aren’t those supposed to be gifts to the nation, not to be kept by the President?
He can keep the ceremonial butt plugs
It’s grossly illegal, but he will. And nothing will happen.
Laws generally don’t apply to Democrat politicians. Sorry, just the way it is these days.
Of course, Hillary may have gone so over the top with her violations of the law that they may actually apply to her...
Yeah. Sure. Uh huh. Of course they will.
PS Dang that hurt when I fell off the turnip truck...
0bama better have a FOID card for those weapons or he could be arrested. Oh wait. Never mind.
Is any of that jewelry Hillary got Mardi Gras beads?
Barry should auction off the jewelry and put half toward a gun buy-back program for Chicago. The other half could put a (probably) very small dent in the National Debt that he ran up.
How do we know the jewelry being moved to Chicago ain’t paste?
You just made me throw up in my mouth. Thanks.
lol
