I never noticed before that her right eye is turned inward a little too far

Seems to me there’s a lot of ‘artistic’ license going on here. Mountains, river, hair, hand positions etc.
It certainly doesn’t seem to be because of something and unemotional computer would do. IOW, some ‘special sauce’ there, matey.

They should go to the next step and show what she’d look like with a modern makeover.

(Secrets of the Mona Lisa 2016)
Fascinating documentary about the creation of the painting and other fascinating insights. Learned a ton!
This is a BBC doc, not “History” Channel, btw.

Looks like a bad photoshop job. Plus why did her head get 50% as large?

I have never understood the appeal of the “Mona Lisa”.

I’ve seen the Gainsborough and the Rembrandt, but have never seen the Mona Lisa or Raphael’s self portrait.
I actually find this interesting, even if a certain amount of subjectivity creeps into the rendering. After all, a certain amount is present in the painting too.

Total hog wash. You can’t dress someone up in vintage clothing and call it the real deal.

I don't know what they are trying to prove here. If da Vinci had drawn 5 drawings of Mona Lisa's face none of the 5 would have been exactly the same. Unless he traced them!
