Paul Ryan leads his Republican primary challenger, Paul Nehlen, by 66 points five days ahead of the election. Ryan leads with 80% to 14% for Nehlen with 6% undecided. Paul Ryans image in the district mirrors the ballot.
Ryan is extremely popular in his district with a favorable rating of 80% compared to an unfavorable rating of just 14%. Nehlen, on the other hand, is viewed unfavorably by 47% of likely Republican primary voters and viewed favorably by just 16%.
Breitbart.com reports that Ryan is running scared, declares his team terrified of defeat Tuesday and that his policy record is collapsing among voters here under scrutiny. No doubt the team at Breitbart sees Ryan as an unacceptable sellout, a terrible Speaker, and someone they would love to see defeated in the primary. But wanting something to happen does not make it happen.

If he loses Nehlen should run as a third part or at least endorse and support the Democrat.
Unite. The establishment must accept that it is now is now the party of Trump. Trumpites must accept that you can’t keep pissing off those that don’t fawn over Trump for whatever reason, whether they are AynRandites or Cruisers.
Hillary is truly more evil than all GOPe, AyanRandites, Cruisers, and Trump combined.
Dingdong Ryan for sure doesn’t have a 66% lead. Ryan could very well be losing according to another poll.
I know, I know....... and hopefully you will be right
My gut tells me otherwise
It’s smart for Donald to not get involved in this.
“Dewey Beats Truman”.
Eric Cantor thought he had a huge lead, too.
Now we call removing multi-national weasels in a primary Cantorizing.
Ryan is next.
i dont know which to be more upset about; this or the Trump polling numbers....
No worries. WI “conservatives” acted like sheep in the primaries. I expect they’ll do the same here and vote for local Gold Boy Amnesty Ryan.
Seems NR is all in with the Ryan’s anti-American fat cat donor driven corportist agenda. They hate conservative opposition to that more than kenyan. How pathetic is that?
Putting the appropriate degree to which we ought be upset aside, I would say based on evidence Ryan will almost certainly win, and Trump will most likely win.
National Review loves them some globalist immigration loving sell out the country for donors rhinos don’t they
Eric Cantor thought he had a huge lead, too.
Now we call removing multi-national weasels in a primary Cantorizing.
Ryan is next.
Eric Cantor was not Speaker and had an informed voting district. Paul Ryan is Speaker and sheep voting in his district. Sadly, it appears Ryan is going to win.
I felt like you did too and I was pleasantly surprised. The antics that are going on are very similar.
This could backfire. Ryan supporters will be complacent and get his opponents to the polls.
“Fox radio claiming that Trump will endorse Ryan tonight in Green Bay.”
Vince Lombardi would be rolling in his grave if that ends up being true (although he’s buried in NJ).
In a related news story, Scientists from the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory have gathered at Saint Bernard Cemetery in Sharon, Connecticut where they are working on harnessing the energy generated by the spinning of William F. Buckley’s body.

Fox radio claiming that Trump will endorse Ryan tonight in Green Bay”
Deal Breaker for me.......
Trump may have struck a deal. Ryan was not supposed to be in Green Bay tonight. Maybe he will show up and support Trump. A quid pro quo. Show up and I will endorse you. Walker and Johnson won’t be there.
