Paul Ryan leads his Republican primary challenger, Paul Nehlen, by 66 points five days ahead of the election. Ryan leads with 80% to 14% for Nehlen with 6% undecided. Paul Ryans image in the district mirrors the ballot.
Ryan is extremely popular in his district with a favorable rating of 80% compared to an unfavorable rating of just 14%. Nehlen, on the other hand, is viewed unfavorably by 47% of likely Republican primary voters and viewed favorably by just 16%.
Breitbart.com reports that Ryan is running scared, declares his team terrified of defeat Tuesday and that his policy record is collapsing among voters here under scrutiny. No doubt the team at Breitbart sees Ryan as an unacceptable sellout, a terrible Speaker, and someone they would love to see defeated in the primary. But wanting something to happen does not make it happen.

i don’t know which to be more upset about; this or the Trump polling numbers....
We’ll see next week. Ryan is supposed to win. So let’s not expect too much.
If NR was right, heads would not be exploding....
Fox radio claiming that Trump will endorse Ryan tonight in Green Bay.
The dreaded seven-engine landing.
Liberals are working overtime to try and preserve the power they’ve obtained.
I’d say Briebart at this point based upon what we saw happen to Huelskamp which was a shock to me but explainable. The NR is now nothing more than an NWO rag but we shall see.
Bath House Ryan needs a hug.
BREXIT was supposed to LOSE by wide margins BUT.....
Given that Ryan is Speaker of the House and can bring tons of money to the district, I’ll bet on NR being nearer the truth.
I don’t believe it and would be very disappointed in Mr. Trump if he did.
I hope Trump DOES NOT do this RYAN doesn’t deserve Trumps support!!!!
“...or the Trump polling numbers...”
GO listen to Trump’s Convention speech again, and realize that he’s giving this speech in every town he goes to, and people are LISTENING.
Then worry about manufactured push-poll numbers.
Now is not the time to go wobbly, as Maggie Thatcher said - that is exactly what the other side wants.
We thought that about Eric Cantor in VA too and he got creamed by Dave Brat.
So there is no contest at all, if this is correct. Ryan will stay on as before. I could have sworn I got opposite messages from Drudge and many other places.
