That was United Nations Rapporteur Maina Kai on July 27, a representative of the U.N. Human Rights Council, who on the tail-end of touring the U.S., endorsed a little-known and yet highly controversial practice by the Justice Department to effect a federal takeover of local police and corrections departments.

The consent decrees are already being implemented in Newark, New Jersey; Miami, Florida; Los Angeles, California; Ferguson, Missouri; Chicago, Illinois; and other municipalities.

We have no fight left in us, or very little fight. Oh, the elderly might have been assaulted one time, but the men in the crowd would have put such a beating on the perp that they would not be able to get volunteers for the second round of assaults.

If they sold their house, they are probably better off, at least in that regards. Housing is looking a lot like 2008 right now. People that own homes are stuck where they are.

But this kinda thing actually happens a lot in the private sector. I worked for a bank that was sold to B of A. Everyone that was not willing to move to Concord, CA was let go. We all got something though. But if someone had not been there long, they got very little, if anything.

I think this is why it says in the bible, when you talk about future plans, you always want to preface it with “Lord willing...”.

And if he’s been through the training, he’ll probably be primed for other opportunities as they come up.

I may sound a bit callous here, but I’m pretty old and have gone through this sort of thing several times in my life. Every single time, I came out better than when I went in. What doesn’t kill us really does make us stronger.
