Obama Federalizes Police Forces in Six US Cities

In his most recent attempt to centralize the federal government’s grip on America, Obama has launched his “21st Century Policing” pilot program, COPS, in six cities across the country.

“Obamalaw,” is yet another overreach of Constitutional authority to fundamentally transform the nation, this time by taking away local police enforcement rights and putting new rules and regulations in place as dictated by the President and Eric Holder’s Justice Department. Born out of the perception that racism is rampant amongst city law enforcement agencies, this new plan is intended to address the issue by trampling on local rights.

Obama is using the same tactic he has used in nationalizing other sectors; expanding progressive control by attaching more conditions to federal funding of state and local law-enforcement efforts.

“We can expand the COPS program… to see if we can get more incentives for local communities to apply some of the best practices and lessons that are embodied in this report,” he said.

We've always said that there will come a moment,an undeniable act of Constitutional defiance, an action taken by the Great Fraudulent Dictator that enacts, contorts the laws that has us slipping, slipping further along down the slippery slope of presidential lawlessness in granting himself exceedingly unconstitutional power, that very moment should be the clarion call for action, real action (won't, can't spell it out) against our government in whatever form is required to save our beloved republic in its exceedingly tenuous situation. This would seem such a moment but I've been wrong before.

The cities chosen for the COPS pilot program are Minneapolis, Fort Worth, Pittsburgh, Stockton, Birmingham and Gary, IN.

That is in every part of the country sorta like they threw darts and picked them at random.

I'd like to know how a Fort Worth policeman feels about being "federalized'.

Maybe it is time for the certain states/locales to declare that it is illegal to pay Federal taxes, since the Federal government is holding back the blackmail money they took.

Why now? He’s just using the old “carrot” of federal funding to get locals to do what he wants. If that was intolerable, we should have been doing something when they used the same tactic to get the states to lower the speed limit, or the BAC level for drunk driving.

I live in Fort Worth and was surprised to see this city picked as one of six federalized police departments. FW is in the largest Republican county in the entire state of Texas. BUT, I did find an article about a black police officer suing the FWPD for discrimination. The article is here:

Notice that the gross grievance: someone printed a copy of a snowman with a noose around its neck. OMG!!! How HORRIBLE!! Such RACISTS!!

Congress has the constitutional authority to stop lawless Obama dead in his tracks by impeaching him out of office. But as a consequence of the ill-conceived 17th Amendment, general voters have failed to make sure, even after three election cycles, that the Senate has the constitutionally required 2/3 conservative votes necessary to boot Obama.

Patriots need to wake up and repeal the 17th Amendment.
