Paul Ryan is in the re-election fight of his life.
A representative for Ryan issued the following statement regarding the election effort:
Representative Ryan is standing on his conservative credentials in this election cycle against Paul Nehlen. As Speaker of the House, Mr. Ryan has battled President Obama at every turn to keep Obama from instituting his agenda.
Without his resistance, President Obama would have expanded the role of government, raised taxes and would have attempted to curtail gun rights. Thanks to Representative Ryan, those agenda items have been held in check".
Now, more than ever, we need Paul Ryan to be re-elected to continue the fight against a progressive agenda.
Developing...
What is conservatism? Amnesty for illegal aliens? Passing a 20 trillion dollar deficit and a budget that funds obama care and illegal Amnesty struck down by the Federal courts? How about prepaid support of a trade agreement worse that NAFTA, the TPP?. How about disregard of the democratically elected nominee of his own party supporting hillary by default. I think paul Ryno is a weezle, He is an establishment HACK!!
Ryan has shown that he is nothing more than a Washington elitist...Only concerned with keeping his power and position and no thought whatsoever about what happens to the voters.
The “professional politicians” care only about keeping their gravy train flowing no matter which fake “party” is in charge...They are all the same...UNIPARTY establishment whores...
They are looking more and more like the old Soviet Politboro every hour....
I keep reading nothing victorious related to Nehlen. Great ads, a visit by Ann Coulter, a cool Bill board, etc., but he is stuck polling in the 30’s.
Is that stinking Ryan going to buy another election, in Wisconsin?
Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price, Georgia Republican, said the budget is more conservative in future years, imposing limits on ballooning Medicaid spending, shifting control of the food stamp program to states and forcing major changes to Medicare.
But conservatives say the 2017 discretionary spending number is too high and Republicans should have fought to cut some $30 billion from the plan.
He promised to listen to their concerns as the process moves forward.
And at the end of the day, the decision will be made by all of the members of the Republican conference.
Yep, some conservative he and other Republicans really are.
A whole $30 B! Why am I not impressed? Or-rather: Why! I am not impressed!
Losing according to this poll: http://prntly.com/2016/07/30/july-poll-nehlen-is-beating-ryan-in-the-wisconsin-open-primary-in-2-weeks-video/
Good news.
He’s mentioned that his BEST bud in congress is one Luis Gutierrez (LG), FLAMING LEFTIST DEMOCRAT from Illinois. You know, the home of Chicago and Cook County where, in addition to others, the elections of Kennedy and obozo were STOLEN by the Democrat machine!
Why is his closeness to Luis of interest? Their ratings by several outfits that do that sort of thing may be an indicator. The lower the score (on a scale from “0” to “100” at CU and from “A” to “F” at GRADEGOV) on the more radically leftist the member.
CONSERVATIVE UNION: RYAN 89/LG 4.45! (Yes, that’s 4.45!!!)
GRADEGOV.COM: RYAN “B+”/LG “F”
HERITAGE SCORE: RYAN (NOT AVAILABLE)/LG 19 (I assume when Ryan got the Speaker’s job, Heritage stopped rating him.)
I think that is a good thing though don’t you? If his district went for John Kasich I would be worried but since they went for Cruz I am guessing they are anti establishment and more likely to vote for Nehlan vs Ryan in the primary.
“Paul Ryan touts conservative credentials in re-election bid”
Which is the ONLY time ANY of the RINO, GOPe, back-stabbing, PC, traitorous, trough-feeding, D.C. insider scum EVER tout their “conservative credentials”. They certainly never demonstrate those “credential” when they vote in Congress.
“I myself will never call myself a conservative again. I prefer the term constitutional patriot.”
I like it. It’s a much better descriptor of who we actually are. I’ve only hung onto the ‘conservative’ label because it’s a readily identifying patch that most of the good guys wear.
When liberal, globalist shills, like Romney and Ryan can dupe millions of Americans by simply velcroing an R or C patch to their sleeve, you know the brand has been diluted and destroyed.
Time for a better label.
If it were up to me, this puke would be in a federal prison for five years for treason and sedition. He’d be in solitary confinement for his entire sentence.
Liberal is the new “Conservative”.
The bastard doesn't need no stinking balanced budget. His focus and drive are to accelerate the Syrian terrorist invasion.
Got my fingers crossed that lots of Dems will cross over to help us boot Ryan.
Dems LOVE to mess with our elections in Wisconsin; this time I’d actually encourage it!
“Time for a better label.”
I call myself a, ‘Conservatarian’.
That’s a Libertarian without all the dope smokin’! ;)
Conservatarian. I like it.
Please use it! :)
“I myself will never call myself a consecutive again. I prefer the term constitutional patriot.”
I don’t use either term anymore because I have seen so many so called, self proclaimed “Constitutional Conservatives” wear their values on their sleeves, all the while pursuing a globalist agenda.
Anyone today telling me that they are a “conservative” causes me to walk away just like I do when someone abruptly tells me they are a “Christian.” My life’s experience has shown me such self proclaimers are both frauds...hence my flight.....
Born and raised on the left coast “I’m from Missouri... Don’t tell me....Show me!” I can draw my own conclusions from your actions.
I think Trump is right in proclaiming his intention to put “America First.” instead of always holding up a copy of the Constitution and telling me he’ll just be that.
Yes, in the distant past there were American “Firsters” in reality just plain ole isolationists.I think the two terms are different then from now.
Today’s Firsters are a reaction to today’s Globalists who would trade away our sovereignty for a utopian goal of world unity. Today’s Firsters seek maintaining our sovereignty while engaging the world on our terms.
Can anyone tell me what is the difference from a globalist and an international socialist (communist)? Their goals seem to be he same......
