Donald Trump has made yet another announcement that will dismay Democrats across the country, and that is his choice for Attorney General. Trump tweeted that his pick for Attorney General is South Carolina conservative Rep.
Trey Gowdy, who currently chairs the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi.
Looked at Trump’s twitter. He just took a dig at John King of CNN. No mention of Gowdy.
Not for real.
This is a retweet from July of last year.
Article should be pulled.
I just looked at Twitter...don’t see it and I’d think it would be announced some other way than Twitter!
Kev—the supposed tweet is from July 27, 2015.
See article.
“Thinking Christie as AG would have been better.”
No! Crispy is anti-gun, pro-Muzzie! Gowdy is a bright guy who probably has been stiffled by the so-called GOE “leadership.”
I don’t see this tweet on Donald Trump’s twitter page.
Why is the tweet quoted in the article dated “11:23 PM 27 Jul 2015”?
Curious as to what Trey Gowdy could do with the investigations with all the support he has been getting from the leadership in the bag for the status quo? /S
Please help me understand what the ‘H’ Gowdy could have done under the conditions he has been subjected by the establishment he is surrounded, and must answer to.
Seems to me he at least made the noise level loud enough to hear.
I’m quite OK with him as AG.
I doubt Trump would use Twitter to make an official announcement about a cabinet or otherw major appointment.
Announcing cabinet posts would be more of a called news conference.
Agree.
