The 36th NVWG will offer 19 events plus one additional sport triathlon. Keeping with the mountain theme, bobsledding will be offered as the years exhibition sport.
While the official theme and logo are still being determined, the obvious underlying theme will be the beauty of the outdoors and the natural wonders of Utah, said Jill Atwood, chief of communications for the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System.

Lodging will be in close proximity to Games venues, and the transportation provided had a role in Paralympic transportation in 2002, he said. The annual Block Party will take place in Olympic Village, he added.
I'm leaving, with my son's assistance, for Salt Lake City, to compete in the National Veterans Wheelchair Games
I will be participating in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters and 800 meters.
Also shot put, javelin and discus.
And of course shooting air rifle and compound bow.
This will be a tough year for me - playing hurt, with a partially torn rotator cuff
I suspect when I through, it will be torn but good!
But I was never one to let pain keep me out of the game!
You’re gonna throw stuff with a torn rotator cuff? That’s hardcore.
Good luck! Let us know how you do.
It seems to have helped a little.
But anybody who knows a paratrooper - retired or not - knows we are pigheaded and just a little crazy!
I usually wouldn’t advocate this, but any chance of one more shot before your go!!
Adrenaline will kick in to kill pain but you wil have quite a recovery ahead of you.
Tougher man than me!! Knock em dead!!
As for throwing stuff - I’m left handed and the injury is my right shoulder.
So it’s “only” going to be a problem with track and shooting.
ROCK ON, BROTHER !!!
Good Brother
Best wishes for your success!
I meant to say good luck brother, my sincere apologies anyways hope you kick butt and take name’s.
Good luck, I hope you do well!.
And from someone who has completely torn both rotator cuffs, had them both repaired, and now working on a partial re-tear...
be careful. I know when you compete, how you want to push it. That’s how I turned partial tears into complete ones. And the recovery from surgery is painful.
I’m left handed and I tore the right one playing hockey, which 50 year olds should not do. But put a ball or stick in my hands and I am convinced I am an indestructible 19 year old again.
awesome, best wishes to you!!
Good luck. Bring back some medals.
Good luck and I hope you do well, just stay safe and do not injure yourself even more.
Hey cool, very cool!!!! Hope you are into cupping! Get a cupping rig!
“My” boys are into it and one just became the captain of our new 2016 USA men’s gymnastics team last night! Great for shoulder pain.
Anyway, wish you the greatest of luck and have fun!
Good luck airborne
You will do well tomorrow!
Alright airborne. Good luck FRiend. :)
Oh I forgot. Congrats to Auston Mathews for being the first American drafted #1 to the hated Leafs since Patrick Kane. As a long suffering Canucks fan, I hope he does well as TO isn’t a friendly city to Americans.
AWESOME AIRBORNE! As they say in show business “BREAK A LEG”! We’re looking forward to your report and fotos!
Your buddy,
Otter
