MIAMI – Shortly after Ted Cruz and John Kasich abandoned the race for the Republican presidential nomination, Denise Galvez found herself in a conundrum. The Cuban-American public relations guru had voted for Sen. Marco Rubio in the March Florida primary that he lost by double digits to the eventual nominee, Donald Trump. “I have known Rubio for a long time,” Galvez said. “I thought he was the best candidate.” She could have either sat out the general election, temporarily switch her allegiance to the Democrats, vote for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, or cast her ballot for Trump, a candidate who derided Mexicans crossing the border as “rapists” and recently drew bipartisan criticism over his comments that an American-born judge of Mexican descent is biased against him. “I’m not gonna sit it out,” Galvez recalled. “At a recent event, I was talking with other women about politics. We were almost ashamed to admit we were all leaning toward Trump. We were talking about establishment politicians taking us for granted and not putting this country first.” So about a month ago, Galvez and her girlfriends formed Latinas for Trump, a grassroots organization that has seen its numbers swell to about 250 members. Last night, Latinas for Trump held its first rally at American Social, a local bar in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida. About three dozen Trump supporters, a majority of them females, mingled with one another over cocktails and appetizers. Galvez and her crew also handed out red t-shirts with “Latinas for Trump” in white lettering. The group’s coming out party comes at a crucial time for Trump. He has come under fire this week over his comments about a Hispanic judge, with one senator even pulling his endorsement of the presumptive GOP nominee.

I don’t think he’s racist either —but he has to reach out to reach out as best he can And not just ignore or blow off various “groups” like some candidates have done.
In today’s world you are a racist if you disagree about what team will win the pennant.
Would ‘people of color’ be better off if all the the power in this country was one of their own? We’d be another 3rd world country. Tribal politics works for the left. The more the better.

Trump has a National Diversity Council-all ethnicities. I saw Stacey Dash on Lou Varney and she said they are going to reach out to everyone.

Just because Trump hits back hard, and not politically correct, doesn’t mean he wasn’t hit first or that the inciting first blow was fair or deserved.
If the judge personally identifies as a Mexican, which he does, regularly meets with “THE RACE” as his preferred legal group identity, and works with a group to boycott a defendant facing him in a legal matter -— well, he might just be a racist. My Momma used to say that when you point your finger at someone, all the other fingers are pointing back at you. This judge appears to deservedly have a whole lot of fingers pointing at his racist self.
TRUMP doesn’t “reach out”. TRUMP faces off.
He treats voters with respect that they can get the picture without cartoons, pony tricks and BS.
Good and Evil are so crystal clear this election, that begging various groups with cake and kool aide for their vote should be a crime.
TRUMP attracted these Latino women with his America First theme. They were intelligent enough to see he is the only candidate who is not in it for himself, and therefore he actually can put America First.
TRUMP kisses no ones ring. He expects voters to have a brain, and know the globally connected from the patriots.
