Young women also have the female "problem" of wide hips (for child bearing) then the narrowing angle to the knees.

The women who run the fastest and such don't have that angle and are, essentially, built like males in regards to that hip-knee angle.
We had MANY female Latinas with that hip-knee angle problem when women took up league soccer. SO many of the women ended up with serious knee problems. Duh. They couldn't figure it out.
Remember when women got into big-time weight lifting? Not pretty.

THAT is why some sports have WOMEN'S differences, like gymnastics. Sports were organized by men for men as a continual battle-ready activity.
Women do different activities and ought to avoid some sports. That would be, unfortunately, like talking to the proverbial brick wall.

The only way to administer Title IX and have truly EQUAL treatment of both men and women would be to remove all references to sex from the rules of the game(s) and qualifications to participate. No more “women’s” tennis or “men’s” soccer. Just tennis. And just soccer. No regard whatsoever given to sex. That’s the only way to give everyone an equal chance, without respect to sex or sexual identity. The athlete’s sex is given no consideration whatsoever, only her/his/its athletic ability.

Put ‘em, all on the same team and let the best player win.

Title IX was and remains a political weapon, and the problem with weapons is that persons other than the original owner can pick them up and use them. Effectively women’s sports must now include participants who only fantasize that they’re women. Unintended consequences.
