Um... Could you anti-Trump protesters please not display so many Mexican flags when protesting against Trump? You might not realize it but it will only help him in the California primary in June.

That is the big worry of the Los Angeles Times in reporting about the protests against Donald Trump yesterday in Costa Mesa. Here is the Times wringing its hands in worry as reported by Ruben Vives and Shelby Grad, about the "unintended consequences" of displaying the Mexican flag which proved counter-productive in the past:

This just keeps stranger. Inside Trump had families of victiims of invader criminals on stage telling their stories. Outside, invader criminal thugs were blocking traffic and rally goers, breaking windows, and rioting....as they proudly waved their Mexican flags.

You can't make this stuff up.

It is very evident who the enemies of our country are.

/sarcasm on

I understand your position, but it seems too vague and lacks any details. Can you be more specific, please?

Those Mexican flags are just a facade. Underneath the spray-paint, you’ll find a hammer and sickle.

For libs, reality is an “unintended consequence”, to be avoided at all costs.

What about the ones that carry a sign that says “MAKE AMERIKKKA MEXICO AGAIN”?

I guess we’re just going to pretend that didn’t happen...

Anyone waving a Mexican Flag while they are rioting should be considered a foreign hostile invader and shot dead.

Oh, man, I wish you were President.

I’m a born-and-bred Southern Californian, of the time that the word ‘wetback’ was spoken openly.

I’m by birth, a half-breed Mojave, so’s if anybody got a right to throw terms, it’s me.

I believe it is a crime, outside of some kind of sporting event, or from the standard of an embassy, to wave or fly any other nation’s flag, but the one I pledged my allegiance to, and fought under as a military veteran.

Why not return the favor, and burn a few of THEIR flags?
(Oh, yeah, I believe with employing the 2A, to back that up!)

I thought the proper use of the Mexican flag was at campus cinco de mayo celebrations.

I live in Colorado. I thought they belonged above the American flag on the posts outside of elementary schools.

The Fourth Estate has become a Fifth Column.

Poll: Not a Single White House Reporter is a Republican

Snips: Those results are buried in a story this week on President Barack Obama’s relationship with the press. An infographic posted in the story reveals that not a single one of the 72 members of the White House press corps surveyed by the Virginia-based trade publication identifies with the GOP.

Twelve survey respondents said they plan to vote for Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton. Three said they support her rival Bernie Sanders. Two plan to vote for Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Tex.) and one supports Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.

I thought it was a micro-aggression to celebrate cinco de mayo on college campuses - unless you are a Mexican.

Doesn’t it usually go like this in the Press Corp...if a RAT is in office, the news is over whelming RAT...and if a PUB is in office, it’s a PUB press corp....

We need to get rid of the ‘communist’ rule of law that our media has decided to be...this is like in the days of the ‘old Russia’, you will eat what you get, you will hear what we want you to hear, and you will work when we tell you...right now, is there any difference?????

Well we have come pretty far when drinking things mixed with tequilla and eating guacamole is micro-aggression. Used to be it was just having fun.

So do we shut down all the Mexican restaurants in town. Or call the Mexican embassy to complain that celebrating their independence day is demeaning to their citizens.

If the French decided to celebrate the 4th of July by eating hot dogs and drinking Bud-Lite I would not find in an insult.

for years the Times ran “those poor Mexican illegal immigrant” stories and now they are concerned about unintended consequences. There was a song about this, True Colors.

“Our MSM media is the propaganda arm of the democrat party..”

“The Fourth Estate has become a Fifth Column.”

I cannot remember when I first started saying that, but I have been saying it emphatically since the MSM reported Florida had gone to Gore in 2000 before the polls in the panhandle (a notably conservative segment in a different time zone) had closed, inducing some to abandon after-work efforts to get to the polling booth.

Had the MSM not lied, I am convinced Bush would have gained enough more votes to cleanly avoid the whole recount fiasco.

Contrary to what his enormous ego tells him, Michael Savage, who claims to have originally coined it, is mistaken: I think many aware patriots have independently coined that phrase over the years; I know I was saying it years before I ever heard Savage - or anyone else - say it.

Full disclosure:

I got the information about the panhandle shortly after the election via Lee Rodgers [RIP] of KSFO on his early morning show.

I reluctantly voted for Bush in 2000, but enthusiastically protested (across the street from Stanford University) the attempted judicial coup by the 9th Circuit; I did not vote for Bush in 2004, after I saw how he would send our soldiers to die halfway around the world, but would not protect our own borders: a true neocon (read: noncon - or should that be just a con?).
