WASHINGTON, Jan. 4 A memorandum by a former Presidential aide depicts Hillary Rodham Clinton as the central figure in the 1993 travel office dismissals, a politically damaging episode that the aide said had resulted from a climate of fear in which officials did not dare question Mrs. Clinton's wishes.
The newly released draft memorandum, written by David Watkins, the former top administrative aide at the White House, also sharply contradicts the White House's official account of Mrs. Clinton as merely an interested observer in the events that led to the dismissal of the White House travel staff and their replacement with Clinton associates from Arkansas.
In the memorandum, apparently intended for Thomas F. McLarty, who was the White House chief of staff, Mr. Watkins wrote that "we both know that there would be hell to pay" if "we failed to take swift and decisive action in conformity with the First Lady's wishes."
Mr. Watkins, a close Clinton associate from Arkansas, wrote the memorandum to respond to criticism of his role in the dismissal of all seven employees of the travel office in May 1993. He was dismissed himself in 1994 after using a Government helicopter for a golf outing, and White House officials said today that his description of Mrs. Clinton's role was inaccurate.

How anyone can even for a moment consider letting these two anywhere near the centre of power for the USA once again is mind-boggling in the extreme. This lot should have been jailed not just years ago, but for years ongoing!

What good does it do...if the justice system is so totally corrupted by the money and influence of the Clinton Crime Family???
At this point, what difference does it make?
Retired WH chef wrote a book about working at the WH (I bought it for my wife)...He was there with Reagan and up till last year...
She told me he had not one kind word for Hillary...
And remember she was caught when Sandy Berger was caught stealing papers and had them in his socks and shorts and coats, etc...
I wonder what was so important in those papers? Will we ever know?
Stuff about yoga, probably.
it doesn’t matter and nothing will stop them from voting for the witch....for crying out loud, freepers voted for bammy....
Probably something about what name to choose for her grand child. Move along...

Berger Thefts Still Weigh on Archives Agents
MORE
It’s been almost eight years since Clinton-era national security adviser Sandy Berger smuggled classified documents out of the National Archives that detailed his boss’s efforts to thwart terrorist threats to the millennium celebrations. The crime cost Berger $50,000, 100 hours of community service, his security clearance, and his law license. But the agents who went after him haven’t forgotten. “It weighs on you,” says Archives Inspector General Paul Brachfeld.
And now they’ve made Berger the poster boy for a new anti-theft initiative. The outreach to archivists includes a slide show that pictures Berger and three other smugglers under the headline: “To Catch a Thief.” What’s more, Brachfeld now has an archival recovery team assigned to work theft cases. “Those acts I don’t think can be re-created today,” he tells our Caitlin Huey-Burns.
Still, the Berger episode gnaws at Brachfeld because the former top official abused his privileges and because Berger’s actions might have robbed the 9/11 Commission of key details related to its probe of the terror plot. Brachfeld says Berger was given “unique privileges” just “because he was Sandy Berger.” But, he adds, that kind of special treatment will never again be provided. “Those unique privileges were rescinded, in terms of it wasn’t going to happen again,” says Brachfeld. [See a slide show of 5 Reasons Obama is the Same as Bush, Clinton.]
He notes that the 9/11 Commission report, which also looked at the Clinton administration’s handling of terrorism, could have been compromised. “We all know what 9/11 meant to the country, and his treating those records in such a manner will always leave, in my mind, a cloud over whether or not the 9/11 Commission got full production of the records that they requested, and that to me is extremely serious and an affront to all Americans.” [Read more about national security and terrorism.]
The misdemeanor to which Berger admitted took place in late 2003. “It was a terrible experience for me,” Brachfeld says. “I was going after big game.” He adds: “It was very disquieting to me that somebody that was a household name in Washington, somebody that was a trusted person, somebody that you hope would be a good steward of the records and would be responsive to the 9/11 Commission, treated the records in the opposite manner. So you know, you lose faith. It’s a success in terms of getting him to admit to the crime in some degree. But at the same time, it’s sad.”
Many of us lived through scandal after scandal while slick Willy and the evil one were in the WH.
It’s serendipitous that the youngins look at Hilary and see Gramma, and can’t connect her to the POTUS position.
Looking at Hillary’s purported statements and alleged concerns I am struck by how inappropriate her presumed role is. She was married to the president with no official role in running the White House. The roles she assumed were occupied by people whose actual job it was to assume and perform those duties.
Having worked in private sector I can tell you how somebody who has no position on the org chart, like a manager’s “adult” kids, can screw up an entire business. If somebody has no official role in an organization then when that person is there, even if they are related to the person in power, they should be silent on how things are run. If they aren’t, they create confusion and chaos.
That is because she was at the head of it.
I just can't imagine Hillary doing yoga unless sitting on a crapper is a yoga position..............
IIRC, Berger removed records from ther archive on more than one occassion!
People at the archive KNEW he did it the first time and ALLOWED him to do it.....AGAIN!
NOBODY at the archive stopped this theft.
That this theft “weighs” on Mr. Brachfeld I have no doubt, but I have no sympathy for him.
It is said one should never attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence. But at the same time one must realize that it is the incompetent that allow the malicious to prosper.
Excellent! just tweeted the link. Time to remind everyone about crooked Hillarys past.
Bewdy! Please make sure they take note of this one telling reference in particular:
“...a climate of fear in which officials did not dare question Mrs. Clinton’s wishes.”
Mrs. Bill Clinton is a Clear and Present Danger to anyone who is not acting positively upon her each and every whim and wishes, and most especially anyone who she deems to be standing in her way.
