I don't know about you but I'm sick and tired of this election season. FR has turned into a bickering board of bitter bubbleheads, it seems. Where we used to see Ted Cruz as a principled conservative... we now attack anyone who likes him as a "Cruzite" or "Cruzombie"... what happened?
First, there was the attack against him that he played dirty tricks in Iowa by relaying an MSM message that Carson was leaving the race. What would you do? If you are in a popularity contest against multiple opponents, wouldn't you make sure that the votes of an ideological brother weren't wasted on a failed effort? It's a logical reasoning... and you don't have days to debate it in committee, you have minutes and seconds before votes are tallied. That Cruz apologized at all for this news media-inspired fiasco shows him to be the bigger man.
Then what? He's following the rules and gathering delegates? I thought we wanted someone who knows how the game is played and can win elections... silly me. The Trump supporters don't seem to realize that DT is not the closer he claims to be. He is riding a wave of populism but is losing on the rules because he is disorganized and unprepared.
Saying all of this doesn't mean I am anti-Trump... I am anti-Dem whether the Dem is Hillary, Bernie, or Biden. Doesn't matter to me. If Trump is the eventual nominee, he will get my vote to stop the Dem machine's destruction of our great country.
In the primary, though, I want the most conservative in the race who has shown he knows how to win. That man is Ted Cruz. Why he is slimed on a conservative board is beyond me... and it saddens me. Maybe he isn't your guy... fine. Why does he have to be slimed? If he does manage to pull out an upset... what have you accomplished but hurting our best chance for conservative restoration in this country?

You still have to fill out the paper work when you’re born in another country. We still don’t know if Cruz ever filled it out. Again, all this could be resolved easily, but Cruz has something to hide and you’re just one of his faithful enablers.
Someone quoted SCRIPTURE — Isaiah 54:17 — over Ted Cruz, and for that you condemn the man.

When you are guilty, it ages you. Cruz has ran a campaign full of hate and dishonesty. It will always age you.

You can pretty much spot the Orthodox houses that way, in fact.
He said that if the claims were correct then Lewandowski should be fired. That is exactly the right position. First reports were that in fact the claims were true as evidenced by the police initial reports and actions.
My observations based on the photo/video evidence and the police reports is that Lewandowski initially lied, then backed away from denial, but the woman overstated the degree of action by Lewandowski. She clearly was pulled back, but it did not appear to be “violent”.
Bottom line, Cruz made an appropriate statement based on initial reports. In any case the importance of this has been way overblown in order to have something to attack Cruz with.
At first we thought it was a miracle. Ted Cruz was the real deal, consistent true conservative. We were excited when he followed us on Twitter, sent us text messages. He was not too aloof to communicate directly with such lowly ones as us.
Then the supposed Christian started showing his ruthless side. He’d do anything to win, using terribly unChristian tactics.
After that we started noticing his horrible voice and that he uses that ugly voice to lie with consistent conviction. By their fruits ye shall know them, and the Ted Cruz fruits seem to be lies. How could we ever trust him to run our country and truly have our backs?
IMHO we can’t.
We still don’t know if Cruz ever filled it out.

When you run for president it’s important to be fully honest with the American people......Huh? You drunk already?
Look, your beef is with the Federal government - they are the ones with the laws that seal those documents automatically. And there is more information in those documents than just what is on a birth certificate.
You mean like Trump hiding his tax returns?
I have seen that area. There are only a few of us in the UES.
Of course none of the slander you use against Cruz is founded in fact. He has not used underhanded tactics, he has followed the rules and been diligent in pursuing delegates. I would expect he would do this and am surprised Trump and his team have been so ineffective and apparently clueless.
I would recommend you actually investigate the spurious claims the Trump crowd throw out rather than buy into all the hype and slander at face value.

Do you have the whole quote or whatever? That’s the only one I have seen. Also, Glenn Beck bought into it, but I don’t hold that against Cruz.

Cruz was for closing the borders long before Trump.
Trump is also for H1B visas...he was against them but now is for them...same position as Cruz

You apparently accept Trump’s flip-flops on a vast range of conservative issues, but not Cruz’s change on one or two trade issue
