When conservatives think about what they most hate about the left, several factors come to mind: their racist appeals, their whining social justice warrior nonsense, their distinct willingness to attack conservative women, their consistent stream of lies, their perversion of buzzwords.

100% agree. Never in my life did I imagine anyone on FreeRepublic would defend Planned Parenthood.
Ben nails it again. Don The Scholng Trump is a Democrat and so many of you are getting conned. You should be ashamed of yourself for getting gas lighted by a Democrat Trojan Horse from Manhattan.
Here is a little info about the author of this article
In 2012, Shapiro became editor-at-large of Breitbart.com, a news and opinion website founded by Andrew Breitbart.[12] In March 2016, Shapiro resigned from his position as editor-at-large of Breitbart.com following the website’s lack of support for reporter Michelle Fields, in response to her alleged assault by Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s campaign manager.
He also was part of the National Review Gang that published an entire magazine against Trump....
I think he is an elitist—Harvard Grad...and his behavior would support that as well. The only one who is a “Schlong” is Shapiro.
Ever since Ben Shapiro palled around with Michelle Fields and slandered an innocent man (Corey), I dont care what he writes and have stopped reading his stuff. Pity, as I used to really look forward to his articles.
It’s great that you are involved with the GOP as a conservative delegate. You have lots of company, and until recently I was a GOP man myself.
I’ve been a delegate to my state GOP convention, way back before the earth cooled, when Pat Robertson was running for President. We sent an all Pat Robertson delegation to the national convention. I saw how the Robertson people dominated the state convention, and it’s why many people say Washington has a primary to go with the caucuses.
Now I’m going to disappoint the Robertson for President crowd by revealing that I wasn’t a fan. In fact, I got booed pretty loudly when I said that I didn’t want a cop in my bedroom unless she was a looker and off duty, but that’s another story.
The Robertson people got motivated and organized and played by the rules. The people of Washington, bless their bleeding liberal hearts, responded with an initiative demanding a primary that got passed into law before the people could even vote on it.
Liberal Washingtonians didn’t like being represented by an “extremist” minority, and I’m sure the GOP regulars didn’t relish the thought of having to out-organize the next Pat Robertson. Many just thought a primary would more likely reflect the will of all the voters.
I can completely understand the indignant response of GOP traditionalists when the delegate process is questioned. If you look at it as a poll tax in commitment, there is some logic to support the idea that lazy or disorganized campaigns or individuals shouldn’t have a say in the outcome.
However, I think that Trump is bringing a lot of voters to the table who’ve never really paid attention to political detail before now, and they have the quaint notion that if the majority of the voters want X, then the party shouldn’t be able to substitute with Y no matter how hallowed, fair or noble the rules are. These neophytes don’t entertain any notion other than the will of the people shall prevail, and many are plenty pissed off at what the GOP hath wrought, to boot.
If you believe that the GOP at a national level no longer sees serving the interests of the average American citizen as a primary goal, and does pretty much everything it can short of rousing the mob to a tar and feather frenzy to make sure the voters don’t get in the way of what it does put first, you’re likely to be impatient with the well meaning but blind conservatives who don’t see the problem.
I’ve looked at Cruz’s actions and associates, the issues he attacks Trump over, and the way his masterful legal mind seems to relish using process and gamesmanship to win even if it means ignoring ballots cast, and I don’t like what I see. We probably differ there.
I don’t think most Cruz supporters are bad people. I’m sure I’d disagree on a few issues with some, but on a lot of big issues we’d agree wholeheartedly.
Please be patient with us Trump supporters. We have many points to agree on, but a lot of us are pretty sure that unless there is a sea change in the direction the country is moving, we are approaching the point of no return for the American experiment in representative democracy , and may even be passed it.
People in that frame of mind are apt to be a little animated when they find somebody who is otherwise an ally supporting an ineligible politician who doesn’t represent a viable solution to the problem, and may actually be working with those causing the problem. It’s nothing personal.
No hard feelings. Those are saved for the Mitch McConnell supporting GOPe crapweasels, and I’m certain there are darn few of those on FR.
trumpers for the delusional lackeys they are.
Would be nice to keep it civil...
Door swings both ways...I just read this comment on this thread....

I mentioned one above when I was call a imbecile because I use poor grammar. Pretty much told to go away.
That is why I posted about the personal attacks in the above posts. I see it as more detrimental to our side than a benefit. I believe it is leading to a bitterness that will keep the losing primary side home during the election and cost us the presidency.
You are not an idiot.
Thank you ~ LOL bet you are a Trump supporter ;)
I think it’s the other way around.
Michelle Fields pimps little Ben Shapiro
What makes me mad as hell is all the ignorance coming from long-term FReepers and how many of them are FReeloaders to boot. They sound so much more like the Left that they claim Trump is part of than he ever did in his worst moments - ironic, no?
Yes.
However, I read your posts. You AREN’T an idiot.
Besides, name calling is a fallacy.
Well said
Old Ben is up but maybe needs his meds
Thank you for standing like a rock in the face of those who keep trying to divide us!
Please remove me from your ping list. Thanks.
