Thank you very much.
If this was on the forum, I missed it.
I am so sorry to hear of this.

All the pundits have been saying that Trump had a bad week. It seem eerily similar to what was being said during the time when that Rubio was on the war path; then Rubio imploded and lost Florida. An event even more ominous than losing a “home state” is just around the corner for Cruz. There are 808 available pledge delegates left in the contest. Cruz has 463; he needs 774 more to get to 1237. After he loses 34 more delegates he will not have any way to get to 1237.
Cruz has been repeatedly spreading the BS that he can still get to 1237 before the nomination. Once he can no longer do that, this contest is going to get exponentially more difficult for him. The illusion will be gone. Cruz will have no more legitimacy in this contest than Kasich does. It will actually start to dawn on people that a vote for Kasick or Cruz is nothing but a vote for the GOPe. Their vote will be wasted. The GOPe is not going to be giving the nomination to Cruz and probably not to Kasich either.
I wonder what the Free Republic Caucus is going to look like when it is no longer mathematically possible to reach 1237? It is probably not going to happen this week, but it is not far off.
I think we get to that point on the 19th, perhaps the 26th of April.
Even if it takes a bit longer, he’s toast and he knows it.
By my calculations, he needs 91% of the remaining delegates.
If he loses 75 more the Trump, it’s over.
There are 846 more delegates out there according to the Green Papers.
We’ve pretty much seen the honest Conservatives abandon Ted by this point.
A Conservative WILL NOT support a floor fight at the Convention, and that is what Ted is all about now.
There’s no denying it.
I think you’re on the right track. I agree with you.
Trump has increased his ratio to over 6-to-1 for April 2nd, having climbed steadily from a 2-to-1 advantage when I initially started paying attention to FR Caucus results a couple of months ago.
I wonder, is it the case that Ted Cruz's support is dwindling even further on this site, or is it just that Donald Trump voters are showing more enthusiasm?
Probably a little of both.
Donald Trump is going to have to overcome overwhelming odds in order to wrest the GOP Presidential nomination away from the GOPe, who are trying to sabotage his candidacy with an unprecedented campaign of systematic and relentless character assassination.
Unfortunately, the Establishment/Left/Mass Media/Cruz campaign appear to be overplaying their hand severely, because the American People are waking up to the fact that Donald Trump simply isn't the evil demon that the entrenched powers are hysterically trying to brand him as.
When all is said and done, I believe their malicious plans will backfire, and voters are going to reject such extremely slanted and irresponsible smears and repudiate these hateful, power-hungry elitists, along with their useful dupes who willingly promulgate their feeble propaganda.
Those who are perpetrating this relentless, hate-filled witch hunt against Donald Trump truly have no decency, and, with their amoral Machiavellian tactics, they have long ago ceded the moral high ground to Donald Trump.
This amoral alliance of hysterical hate, assembled from elements of the intolerant Left, Media, Establishment, GOPe, and, regrettably, even the once-noble Ted Cruz campaign, has exposed itself as the authentic threat to the American Republic.
Nothing could be more important for the American People than shaking the corrupt DC cartel (of both parties) to its very core. Nothing. Things will start to change for the better in America only when that happens.
And Donald Trump is the only one willing and able to challenge the power of these elitist demagogues, and to tirelessly work with We the People to help Make America Great Again.
"Please pray for Donald Trump, and even his hysterically irrational detractors. Pray that voters and supporters will be able to heal their wounds once this brutal process is complete."
Go, Trump, Go!
My numbers came from fivethirtyeight.com and include only the “pledged delegates” left. I am not completely sure tonight where the discrepancy between the two sites is coming from, but the point is the same. When Ted can no longer claim that he can get to 1237 before the convention many more people will realize that a vote for him is a vote that allows the establishment to pick the nominee.
Carl Rove and many others saying that maybe it would be best if a candidate other than Trump or Cruz was picked at the convention may be the best endorsement Trump has “received” to date.
Please add me to ping list. Thx.
Excessive loss of American manufacturing jobs coupled with unrestricted immigration have become so onerous to the middle class that many voters understand that something must be done. This is no longer a conservative versus liberal issue, it’s an American issue. It’s not all or nothing for either unrestricted free trade or trade barriers. If the GOPe doesn’t address this issue, then the independent and Democratic voters will look to Bernie and not an all-inclusive Trump presidency. Cruz and Kasich are not going to capture these voters, only Trump can do it.
I’m not familiar with that site.
We are in agreement that moment is coming for Ted.
The fact is that at this very moment, he knows that moment is coming, and he is intent on staying in to deny Trump the victory.
Ted has decided being the GOPe waterboy is good enough.
Agree with your entire statement @ #14
FiveThirtyEight has been one of my favorite sites for keeping track of the race. You might give it a look.

Ted’s “joke” Wednesday that he wasn’t sure which pedal he would hit if Trump was walking behind his car and then yesterday signaling to Jimmy Kimmel that he likes Obama more than Trump both are more than a little indicative of Cruz’s true character. At the same time Trump told Maureen Dawd that he wished that he regretted retweeteing Heidi Cruz’s uncomplimentary picture comparing her to Melania which is indicative of his character.
Cruz supporters here like to claim that Ted’s inability to get along well with is peers is some type of asset. But all of his actions lately are completely consistent with a lifelong pattern of behavior. More and more people are beginning to realize that he really is a nasty person whose moral compass is completely screwed up.
Ted had a horrible childhood. Both his parents were alcoholics and his dad abandoned the family when Felito (Raphael’ original nickname) was a little boy. So he faced a lot of turmoil during his formative years.
I am sorry I had a terrible typo in my response. Donald Trump told Maureen Dowd that he regretted retweeting Heidi’s picture, not that he “wished that he regretted”. I started writing that he “wished that he hadn’t retweeted” and then made a bad edit.
I’ve done that more times than I would like to admit.
I also change directions and sometimes leave words in that no longer fit.
