When you say someone is “worthy of death”.
That’s calling for them to be killed. You can say it’s not, but that’s debatable that most people would disagree with you about.
A Cruz supporter read a verse from the bible, and in a guilt-by-association slur the candidate is maligned. Now Cruz has done it. He is taking money from homosexuals, and then wanting to kill them.
Really. In some peoples world, this is what they ‘think’. No shame.
Thats calling for them to be killed. You can say its not, but thats debatable that most people would disagree with you about.
Not by rational people with an understanding of the context. That God may call for their death is within his prerogative, but no one is suggesting that Homosexuals be killed, and it is deliberately dishonest to characterize it that way.
Here is the verse. Nothing about executing. It’s like saying smokers will die for their behavior.
Rom 1:32
(32) who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them.
Hey Appy - sorry to inform you but we are all going to die.

Actually for Christians, this is used to justify murdering anyone. This is referring to death of the soul, far more serious BTW, IOW the person is going to hell.
Perhaps you are confusing Christians with Muslims?
That is gross ignorance on your part...ignorance of Biblical scripture and ignorance of Ted Cruz. You are the exact opposite of your handle.
You can say its not, but thats debatable that most people would disagree with you about.
Then most people would be Biblically illiterate.
When you say someone is worthy of death.
The Bible says every human being is worthy of death. Haven’t you read the Book?
Christian doctrine is that everybody has sinned and that all are therefore worthy of death but we are not to condemn others but instead ask for forgiveness of our own sins. I will grant that singling out gay people as being worthy of death suggests the guy may have issues...its kind if like an atheist saying gay people don’t have a soul. It suggests the speaker has issues but technically atheists dint think anybody has a soul...(materialistic atheists I mean)...but it is not the same as calling for them to be killed.
