I have been on Free Republic for almost 15 years and almost never post anything. Love to lurk and post occasional response. In mid-February I changed my preference for President from Cruz to Trump. I've seen many others who have made a similar change in the past month.
I'm curious to learn those who have changed from Trump to another candidate, and why. I hope I have posted this correctly. If not, I apologize beforehand.
I changed from being for either Cruz or Trump to being for Trump now that Cruz has dropped his mask and blamed Trump for the actions of the anarchists who mobbed his rally. Those are the same anarchists responsible for Ferguson and Mizzou, and Cruz is on their side.
Went through your posts. You leaned Cruz. In one of your posts you said you didn’t have confidence that Trump could change things. You have more confidence in Cruz to do that. OK, explain the TPP/TPA debacle?
Wonder if you’ll find someone who switched that way. I was so excited when Cruz declared for president and as I’ve said before, have donated to him three times starting day one. I’m now Trump/Cruz or just Trump,

Started out as a Cruz fan but didn’t have any animosity toward Trump. Now I’m solidly in Trumps corner. I don’t think Cruz would stand a chance against Hillary. There’s something lacking there.
Media and the left doesn’t like Trump or Cruz.
