Ted Cruz Says Donald Trump's Voters Have "relatively low information" And Are "not that engaged"

GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz tells The Brody File that the reason Donald Trump is performing well in the GOP race for president is because his voters are uninformed and not engaged in the process. “Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice.

Many people who claim Trump isn’t a conservative are themsrlves not. Look at Bush, Romney, Graham, Ryan.

Many politicians and pundits/commentators/newsies and sycophants are throwing around the word 'conservative'. They are making it a litmus test, but few actually define what they mean by 'conservative'. Those who do try to define what they mean by 'conservative' revert to the age old rhetoric that the GOP abandoned a long time ago: smaller government, fewer taxes, fewer regulations, yada yada yada.

In Fiorina's speech to support Cruz, she was saying she and Cruz are the only two true conservatives. [IIRC, her history was anything but 'conservative'.]

Trump is the only one with skin in the game. He could have started this campaign taking donations like everyone else instead he’s using money he could have left to his kids and grandkids.

He’s doing that to avoid the influence bosses.

You are correct, sir. Trump can’t be bought..that is what is infuriating the “elites.”..

As I mentioned in an earlier post about this months ago, George Patton was independently wealthy, and did not take a nickle of his Army salary during his years on active duty. He instead donated his salary to the Army Relief Fund, to be distributed to needy soldiers and their families. THAT, is leadership. Trump is cut from the same exquisite cloth..and is our Patton..

In my case it means "It does not mean what you think it means."

For example, much is made of the fact that Trump gave a lot of money to RAT politicians. To us 'civilians' (and I use that word in the Godfather sense) that looks like protection money, not genuine support. Yet for TDS sufferers it's proof of his lefty sympathies, and our blind support for Trump. It's the world where businesspeople live.

Issue: Borders and massive invasion of illegals.
Issue: Jobs.
Issue: Economy.
Issue: Crime and treatment of cops.
Issue: Treatment of military.
Issue: Military Rules of Engagement.
Issue: Giving the GOP the HOUSE and watching them squander it and ignore the issues they got elected on.
Issue: Giving the GOP the SENATE and watching them squander it and ignore the issues they got elected on.

They are far from being the mindless lemmings you try to paint them as being.

Trump doesn’t say, or pretend to be, “conservative” as the current (neo?) conservatives in DC are “conservative”. If the conservatives in our House and Senate have permitted this country to arrive at the state it’s in, they’re useless. They certainly aren’t “conservative” in the true sense of the word.

So they’ve sullied that word and it no longer means what it did during Reagan. The best we can hope for is a Nationalist as President — someone who loves America more than any other country, and someone who will protect America.

I was a conservative. Now I’m not.

I believe Trump voters are more enthused. I am sure most are engaged and informed. They know who he is and do not care that he is not ideological conservative as Cruz. The America first, no PC, someone fighting back is most important. Cruz is viewed as nerdy.

I am of the opinion that without Trump catching spears, Cruz would have been gutted and left on the side of the road long ago.

Cruz knows how to fight. Trump knows how to fight and win.
