A long-time political insider just made a bombshell announcement about conservative Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), who is running for President.
This Republican operative, who has worked on 9 different presidential cycles, couldnt keep it quiet any longer after being in talks with key leaders of Cruzs and Senator Marco Rubios (R-FL) campaigns.
The insider is Roger Stone. He once worked for Donald Trump, and passed along his report to a popular radio host that Cruz used a high-priced attorney to confidentially request that Rubios team promise Cruz a Supreme Court appointment in exchange for Cruz exciting the race. This is in addition to recent reports that the candidates wives have been in contact, discussing why someone dropping out is essential.

The Sessions' endorsement of Trump was the death knell for Cruz. He knows it.
Cruz just released 9 years of tax returns and challenged Trump to do the same. Doesn’t sound like he’s dropping out.
Furthermore, I'm guessing more of Cruz's supporters will go to Trump than to Rubio, or just not vote in the primaries at all. Cruz supporters are generally anti-establishment, and most of them are smart enough to see empty suit Rubio as just a younger, slicker Jeb in the making.
I agree a lifetime on SC beats President. But why would Cruz make such a deal with Rubio who hasn’t won anything and why would he trust that creepy Rubio. Just saying.
That's as likely to happen as you juggling flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle.
I’m guessing this revenge for the Ben Carson-Iowa gambit false report.
You’d think by now Cruz would be disavowing the report if not true. If he lets the report stand unchallenged, it probably will hurt him tomorrow.
Not only that, but with one tweet, Cruz can demolish the story. It’s not like the Carson story that broke 15 minutes before caucus time.
> For what it’s worth.
Probably ain’t worth much. Not a chance in the world that Ted drops out before Texas primary. Short of a comet or meteor strike.
So a Trump operative is now falsely reporting that Cruz is leaving the campaign, in just the manner that Trump said Cruz told people that Carson was leaving his campaign. Except Carson did go home and left the campaign to “change his clothes” or some other weird BS reason. Now that it is “reported”, I suppose Trump has plausible deniability to tell voters that Cruz is gone.
I have to agree.
Roger Stone has been wrong before.
Trump fired him a long time ago. Try to follow. He is a freelance slime at present.

The meeting with the Koch brothers last week is no secret. Its a fact! They are putting another 75million to boost Rubio. They are giving nothing to Cruz. All the chips are all-in to Rubio. The problem they are facing is....Rubio has no path to victory. His job is to keep Trump from getting the majority of delegates. This is their last ditch effort! Sad!
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
Imagine the fun if we could hear the behind-the-scenes plotting.
RE: He needs a job it seems. Feel sorry for him and disappointed. He will go where the optimal career path takes him.
Why do you say that? He still has two years left as Senator. He HAS a JOB.
The one who would need jobs if Trump wins are Rubio and Chrs Christie.
Roger Stone is Trump paid liar.
Trying to get even for Carson incident.
Can you confirm or deny?
He’s hasn’t confirmed a date, but CRUZ is planning to come to Illinois.
