There's no legal restriction preventing him from releasing his tax returns, even if he's being audited...

Yea, that’s the ticket.
No, Harry Reid is a lot smarter than GGGG.
When obunghole releases his college records, perhaps I’ll get on board. Otherwise, this is a non-issue.
Yet another News/Activism post banished to Gen/Chat for no good reason
LOL!!!
I’m sorry. I know I shouldn’t laugh at the shortcomings of other’s. But these threads of your’s are like the guy sawing the branch he’s sitting on. LOL!!
Baffled bafflers baffle the baffleable.
You must be a Trump University grad!
It makes perfect sense. If you're being audited, especially when you have a complex return with multiple schedules, you don't need to have copies out there floating around for the clowns at the IRS to look at, and pass judgement on, before you are allowed to present your explanations.
According to the article Cruz has released five years worth and will be releasing two more years this weekend. Rubio says he will be releasing his returns within a few days.
Cruz endorsed amnesty homo Rubio.
Soros’ leftwing rag Politico’s claim to be a legitimate news out doesn’t baffle anyone.
Exactly, if the IRS audit leads to findings that require him or organizations involved to have to file amended returns, then releasing his returns now(which, given the nature of his multiple businesses, have to be voluminous and complicated)would not be a wise move from the perspective of his campaign. If he and his organizations come away clean from the audit clean then he can release immediately (the entire voluminous amount) without political worry. If he has to accommodate changes because of the audit then he has to plan carefully how he does the release.
The most important takeaway from the debate came right after the debate:
The Great Conservative has now SWERVED to support the 8Gang Cabana Boy.
Cruz is now the Great Conswervative.
Great Idea! Hold the faux Republican candidate to the same standard as Democrats. Wow! Brilliant! /s
His tax attorney isn't running for president. Trump is. He could release them if he wanted to.
Lightweight losing candidate Mitt Romney asks about my tax returns. I have a store that is worth more than him.Posted by Donald J. Trump on Thursday, February 25, 2016
The article linked does not expose what it claims. Its author clearly does not know that one can be audited successfully over a period of, say, 12 years, and have a single recent audit cover, say three years, at one swipe.
Because he's hiding his returns after he said he'd release them.
“There’s no legal restriction preventing him from releasing his tax returns, even if he’s being audited...”
A smoke screen by Trump. Most people are smart enough to see through it; I would hope.
I am a Cruz supporter; and pretty sure it was brought up that he hasn’t released his returns either. Cruz needs to do the same.
These guys are seeking the highest office in the land; what in the world makes them think they don’t have to release this information?
And why would voters give any of them a pass not to do so?
They are all politicians. No matter who you support; you should never trust any of them.
They all want their hands in our pockets.
