Why would Mitt Romney go on national television and declare, "I think we have good reason to believe that there's a bombshell in Donald Trump's taxes. Either he's not anywhere near as wealthy as he says he is, or he hasn't been paying the kind of taxes we would expect him to pay"? Since when does buttoned-down, white-bread Mitt Romney make audacious, provocative accusations? Romney's accusation might be a safe bet — if not to be verified, then to never be refuted. Just a few years ago, Trump refused to release un-redacted tax returns, even when it could help him win a $5 billion libel lawsuit against a New York Times reporter and author. If Trump was unwilling to release his returns in that circumstance, how likely is it that Trump will release them before Election Day? Newsflash! The required financial filings for the FEC are audited financials. They show an accurate picture of your finances. Tax returns are not required.
Mitt Romney had to be flogged into showing his. He has no knowledge whatsoever as to what is in Trump’s tax return. The party has enlisted Mitt to try to start something up and still smarting from being called a choke artist he is happy to oblige. I think its foolish of Trump to show his tax return. Non of the others have.

Point is, all the other candidates have agreed to release their tax records, even without having to....except for Donald. Why is he not willing to do the same? What is he hiding? He’s so quick to cast doubt on and accuse Ted Cruz, calling him a liar ....yet he, himself, is being about as transparent as mud here. Which is, no doubt, how he would be as a CIC (another clear as mud idiot like Obama is and/or like Hillary would be).
No, if he’s really an honest businessman, it should be no problem for him to release these records like the other candidates. If not, we need to know NOW, or rather ...yesterday.

A President has to be able to think on his feet in order to be effective and protect the nation. Trump won’t be on a golf course or playing tiddly-winks when a decision needs to be made.
