The CEO of the nation’s biggest abortion company is upset that pro-life Governor John Kasich of Ohio signed a bill to defund Planned Parenthood. Cecile Richards, whose abortion biz pretty much only provides women with abortions as opposed to prenatal care or adoptions, claims taking away the abortion giant’s taxpayer funding hurts “expectant mothers and newborns.â€
Here’s the unbelievable irony from Richards:
“This legislation will have devastating consequences for women across Ohio,†Richards said in a statement. “John Kasich is proudly eliminating care for expectant mothers and newborns. He is leaving thousands without vital STD and HIV testing, slashing a program to fight domestic violence, and cutting access to essential, basic health care.â€
Never mind that the funding planned Parenthood received now goes to legitimate medical centers that provide tangible health care for women and children.
However, in a statement to CNN, Kasich’s spokesperson Joe Andrews said the law reflects Kasich’s support of women’s health issues.
“The Ohio Department of Health has at least 150 other sub-grantees and contractors for the affected grants and projects addressing such issues as newborn babies, infant mortality, expectant mothers, violence against women, and minority HIV/AIDS,†the statement said. “ODH will reallocate funding from ineligible providers under the new law to other currently eligible providers, ranging from local health departments and community organizations to hospitals and universities. These organizations will be required to submit proposals in order to receive funding.â€
Meanwhile, according to Planned Parenthood’s own figures from its annual report, 92 percent of pregnant women going to Planned Parenthood get abortions while a handful get prenatal support or adoption referrals. Although Planned Parenthood likes to talk about getting hundreds of millions in federal funding for family planning, the numbers show abortions are up while contraception services are down.

In 2011, abortions made up 92% of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy services, while prenatal care and adoption referrals accounted for only 7% (28,674) and 0.6% (2,300), respectively. For every adoption referral, Planned Parenthood performed 145 abortions.
After the Planned Parenthood abortion company was caught in multiple states selling aborted babies and their body parts, several states have taken steps to de-fund it and Ohio is now the 10th state to take steps to end or cut Planned Parenthood funding.
PP does nothing positive for expectant mothers or newborns.
Additionally, with Obamacare, all potentially positive services are available for free anyway.
“Donald Trump told me PP does great things.”
He also said, in the same answer that the abortions they provide should not be funded by the government. Shutting down the abortion mill would put them out of business.
His statement allows him to receive support of dumb single women who might be against abortion but still want to be seen as “Caring” for women.
De-funding the abortions would kill off all of PP
Both sites of the issue is whereTrump is.... Again.

How are you both unaware that abortions by PP are not funded by the government and that it is illegal all ready for PP to use government funding for abortions.

It’s only about the money. They tell their patients exactly how to get public funds for their abortion, etc. it’s a huge moneymaker, killing all these babies.

Filling birth control scripts is HUGE money for PP ,, they get the drugs under programs forcing the makers to sell at very low prices as a non-profit .. PP then resells at high retail and bills the states medicare/medicaid programs for the inflated prices. It’s an illegal scam that they’ve been caught at time and again but it gets ignored.
