The CEO of the nation’s biggest abortion company is upset that pro-life Governor John Kasich of Ohio signed a bill to defund Planned Parenthood. Cecile Richards, whose abortion biz pretty much only provides women with abortions as opposed to prenatal care or adoptions, claims taking away the abortion giant’s taxpayer funding hurts “expectant mothers and newborns.â€
Here’s the unbelievable irony from Richards:
“This legislation will have devastating consequences for women across Ohio,†Richards said in a statement. “John Kasich is proudly eliminating care for expectant mothers and newborns. He is leaving thousands without vital STD and HIV testing, slashing a program to fight domestic violence, and cutting access to essential, basic health care.â€
Never mind that the funding planned Parenthood received now goes to legitimate medical centers that provide tangible health care for women and children.
However, in a statement to CNN, Kasich’s spokesperson Joe Andrews said the law reflects Kasich’s support of women’s health issues.
“The Ohio Department of Health has at least 150 other sub-grantees and contractors for the affected grants and projects addressing such issues as newborn babies, infant mortality, expectant mothers, violence against women, and minority HIV/AIDS,†the statement said. “ODH will reallocate funding from ineligible providers under the new law to other currently eligible providers, ranging from local health departments and community organizations to hospitals and universities. These organizations will be required to submit proposals in order to receive funding.â€
Meanwhile, according to Planned Parenthood’s own figures from its annual report, 92 percent of pregnant women going to Planned Parenthood get abortions while a handful get prenatal support or adoption referrals. Although Planned Parenthood likes to talk about getting hundreds of millions in federal funding for family planning, the numbers show abortions are up while contraception services are down.

In 2011, abortions made up 92% of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy services, while prenatal care and adoption referrals accounted for only 7% (28,674) and 0.6% (2,300), respectively. For every adoption referral, Planned Parenthood performed 145 abortions.
After the Planned Parenthood abortion company was caught in multiple states selling aborted babies and their body parts, several states have taken steps to de-fund it and Ohio is now the 10th state to take steps to end or cut Planned Parenthood funding.
NEWBORNS and Planned Parenthood in the same sentence?

Planned Parenthood provides services to 400,000 prospective newborns a year, almost none of whom actually make it to birth. Thousands of them do, however, make it to research laboratories. With the profit per part on multiple baby organs per dead or dying child, those are the unborn children Cecile Richards most wants Planned Parenthood to continue serving.
Planned Parenthood deals with newborns all the time—the ones they kill and deliver prematurely.
It is incredulous that they claim that newborn health will suffer if PP is defunded. Even if an expecting mother received no prenatal care at all, her baby would be healthier than if PP got a hold of it.
Abortions and Birth control are their 2 biggest money makers. Pre-natal care is a lot farther down the list, if it even exist, in some of their locations.
I take comfort knowing some day she will face GOD, and the Babies she slaughtered.

PP does -- as Trump has said -- " a lot of good things." I know several women, including my own sister when she was going through a tough time, who avail themselves of PP's super-cheap services, such as pap smears, gyno exams, and x-rays. My sister had an ovarian cyst and saved perhaps $1,000-$2,000 by going to PP. Trump gets this. Cruz does not. Women get this, and will respond well to Trump as a result. Trump says to "defund the BAD stuff they do." This is the KEY. Trump can get a majority of Americans, including women, to support this. But of course if you defund abortions, PP will COLLAPSE. that is the genius of this plan...and the ONLY way we will ever achieve this.
On the other hand the not killed are pretty happy.
The purpose of PP is to murder children.
I disagree, the women who agree that PP does good things will go to Hillary instead of Trump. Trump has been for and against PP so often, and recently, that those who agree that PP does good things, will vote Hillary. At least they know where she 100% stands on the issue, Trump moves around on this, just this month alone, without even bringing up his past statements on the subject.
