Scalia was in Texas to HUNT. Obviously mentally AND physically fit. In a very real sense, the Republic literally hangs and depends on this man. So how the heck does he die so suddenly? Not even suggesting foul play, just wondering what his doctors were doing/thinking. If this man were seriously ill, he should have been strapped to an I.V. pumping him full of whatever has kept Castro - and for that matter Ginsberg - alive until November 4, 2016.
Twenty years working in a big city ER has exposed me to more death than even many combat soldiers. At 80 years old people, particularly males, die for no apparent reason.
I know. He was no spring chicken. And I had a brother die of a clogged artery before he was 40.
But considering the PTB now, suspicion is the first thing that comes to mind. Like you, I do not rule out foul play.
God is in charge of that, not doctors. As David wrote, “My times are in your hands.” Psalm 31:15.
Because he was a true constitutional conservative and now Obama will try to replace him with a whack-job liberal is my guess.
Bambi and ViperGal may not be so happy lately -— since SCOTUS just FINALLY shot down one of their cases, that one against Americans.
[ hmmm were they finally trying to Make America Great Again when regime let them know it wont happen ]
Now you call Scalia a clown?
My Dad had a saying - “Here today, gone to breakfast”
I have one of my own.
“Shit happens”
79 year old people die, it happens.
No I called you a clown.
Is there an easy way to test for clogged arteries?
Was he sitting on a bench?
In an unattended death, the authorities are involved. An investigation is conducted. YET, we are already hearing: CNN “he wasn’t feeling well and went to bed”......FOX News “He died in his sleep.”
Why are these “conclusions” already being offered up by the media?
Someone is feeding this information to the same media that can’t seem to tell us for days and even months whether or not an attack in San Berardino was a terrorist attack.
What i did suggest is he should be been hooked up to a heart monitor 24-7 to ensure he lived through the election.
FWIW doctors don't just strap people to IV's without a very good reason (and I'm guessing perhaps you were being sarcastic with that comment?) but if not, I'm not sure what type of IV he should have been hooked up to and neither do you.
Nor do doctors hook people up to a heart monitor 24-7 even if they have a risk for a high risk for having a heart attack or stroke. People are only hooked up to a heart monitor while in the hospital and in some cases, are hooked up to a portable monitor for short periods of time, several days to a week to diagnose irregular heartbeats.
He was 79 years old, overweight (had gained a lot of weight in the last 10 years or so) and was a long time cigarette smoker. We do not know if he had high blood pressure and or was on medication for it, but that wouldn't be surprising.
But even if he had HBP or otherwise at high risk for a heart attack or stroke, there is nothing an IV or being hooked up to a heart monitor would have done to prevent it.
I think it is likely, given he said before he went to bed that he "wasn't feeling well", that he had a massive heart attack or a massive stroke, that it happened so suddenly that he was not able to call for help or just died in his sleep without being aware of what was happing. It happens.
And BTW, not "feeling well" could have been anything from just feeling a bit tired or slightly lightheaded or having what he might have reasonably thought was some indigestion after a heavy meal. In the case of a lot of fatal and massive heart attacks or strokes, there are often not a lot of symptoms beforehand or before it is too late to do anything.
For God’s sake he was about to turn 80.
That’s when this kind of thing happens.
.
My father died suddenly of an aneurysm at 60. Healthy physical 6 months before, exercised. Recently had a friend did suddenly at 51 didn’t feel well. We need to not go wacky tin foil hat Pelican Brief mode. The man needed to live life and enjoy what he liked, not sit and stay in a safe room to protect all of us. He served well, bless him and his family.
I haven’t read much about the cause, except they say natural causes.
Don’t want to be mean but why does a good man like Scalia die while so many worthless people live on.
I’m sure they will do an autopsy but foul play seems like a reach.
Elderly, doesn’t feel well, goes to bed ...
“Why is everyone freaking out over Scalia?”
If you have to ask ...
I thought Scalia has had heart issues for years.
