In 2008, America elected a demagogue who was hailed as a savior to his people. He used Alinsky tactics and a divide-and-conquer approach to bully his way through the election--and after.
Taking the same approach in this election just because your demagogue is saying what you want to hear sounds a lot like the definition of insanity.
I think Ted would make the better president, but if it comes down to either Trump or Rodham....I vote Trump~
I don't think that's even in question. This is about the primary.

Well what you posted was far from in depth. You sound like your mad your guy Cruz has blown it. Glen Beck was not wise. It is hard to have an in depth discussion when Cruz takes on a certified whacko to go to rallies with.
I ditto your post - completely.
Trump’s not perfect, but he’s right where it counts. I don’t agree with your assessment of him.
Teddy bears ar the border vs ship them back.
That’s the real choice.
Until Trump said it, what other candidate had the balls to bring up the 800 pound gorilla in the room, Islam? He had the character to essentially write off one of the fastest growing voting blocks because he knew it was in the countries best interest.
He is simply Trump. No one else.
I’d take Cruz over Trump, but without Trump in the race we’d just be choosing between Jethro or Mario.
“I think Trump is like Obama. Let’s delve into this deep analysis.”
LOL. I don’t think there’s much to say if that’s how you feel. Best of luck to Ted in the primaries, guess we’ll see how it shakes out in the end.
I don't disagree. I've said so many times myself. I just wish FR would get back to caring about the truth and less about slamming "the other guy." Trump has been palatable to me all the way... but his recent tactics, statements, and GOPe support should be explored, not ignored.
They are alike in the ways I stated.
Trump is deceptive and, as such, is an unknown quantity. It is very reasonable to be suspicious of this man. However, if it comes to a choice between him and Hillary, there really is no choice. It will be interesting and perhaps even frightening to see where this ends.
So I should vote for someone who is not saying what I want to hear and I don’t particularly like?
If that were the case we should all vote Jeb.
I'd take Cruz over Trump, but without Trump in the race we'd just be choosing between Jethro or Mario.
BINGO!
This isn't a policy disagreement. It's about tactics and attitude... although I don't agree with him on everything. There isn't anyone I do agree with 100%. The fact that the GOPe prefers Trump to Cruz tells you something.
“There is very little discourse and deep analysis anymore.”
Actually, there is. It might not be you doing it, but there is.
You fail to understand that elections are not won by logical intelligence but by emotion and wallets.
Americans are tired of being told they cannot be Americans, and they are tired of being broke.
Trump addresses both of those issues.
