I really don't like what's happening to FR in this primary. There is very little discourse and deep analysis anymore. I welcome a discussion on my thoughts above. From my perspective, Trump is sounding more and more like an Alinsky Democrat every day... and his supporters don't care.

I think Ted would make the better president, but if it comes down to either Trump or Rodham....I vote Trump~

Well what you posted was far from in depth. You sound like your mad your guy Cruz has blown it. Glen Beck was not wise. It is hard to have an in depth discussion when Cruz takes on a certified whacko to go to rallies with.

Trump’s not perfect, but he’s right where it counts. I don’t agree with your assessment of him.

I don't consider it “deep analysis” to suggest that Trump and Obama are in any fashion similar.

Teddy bears ar the border vs ship them back.

That’s the real choice.

Until Trump said it, what other candidate had the balls to bring up the 800 pound gorilla in the room, Islam? He had the character to essentially write off one of the fastest growing voting blocks because he knew it was in the countries best interest.

He is simply Trump. No one else.

I’d take Cruz over Trump, but without Trump in the race we’d just be choosing between Jethro or Mario.

“I think Trump is like Obama. Let’s delve into this deep analysis.”

LOL. I don’t think there’s much to say if that’s how you feel. Best of luck to Ted in the primaries, guess we’ll see how it shakes out in the end.

Trump is deceptive and, as such, is an unknown quantity. It is very reasonable to be suspicious of this man. However, if it comes to a choice between him and Hillary, there really is no choice. It will be interesting and perhaps even frightening to see where this ends.

So I should vote for someone who is not saying what I want to hear and I don’t particularly like?

If that were the case we should all vote Jeb.

“There is very little discourse and deep analysis anymore.”

Actually, there is. It might not be you doing it, but there is.

You fail to understand that elections are not won by logical intelligence but by emotion and wallets.

Americans are tired of being told they cannot be Americans, and they are tired of being broke.

Trump addresses both of those issues.

By equating Trump with Obama, you produce the very vile that prompted your post in the first place. That isn’t progress.

The Democrats and the Left have their Obama; we, on the right, have ours. Those here that support Mr. Trump should not look with contempt on the idiots who voted for Obama because they are not much better.

I think you should look closer to home.

Trump is not as you are trying to paint him and anyone who actually looks at original source information knows that. You want to magnify his freckles. No candidate is completely pure and Trump knocks the really important issues out of the stadium.

Cruz is devolving and is the one that has been lying and manipulating the image he paints for his supporters. So perhaps you want to actually read the source material on Cruz as well.

For Trump we have 20 years of positions to read with some evolution, some clarification. For Cruz we have about 5 years with several significant inadequately explained hairpin turns. Which one wants to include the whole country, seems to me that’s Trump?

Which one seeks to demonize segments, invent straw men and is subject to the influence of the same class he is demonizing? I am comfortable that I have done the research and evaluation to know it ain’t Trump.

You say:

"Trump is sounding more and more like an Alinsky Democrat every day... and his supporters don't care. "

But what I hear is:

"Waaa, Waaa, cruz is losing because of you poopy pants"

Honest to God, You Cruz supporters are becoming a caricature of your selves.

Blah, blah, blah, Trump, Alinsky, Blah, Blah, Blah, concerned, blah, blah . . .

Trump isn't the one who paid top dollar to a group that surreptitiously gathers information to build psychological profiles of people and uses such data in their campaign. For someone who is concerned that people don't dig deeply, seeing the trigger word Alinsky like it's horrible is just an absolute joke.

Such tactics are widely known and widely used these days, even by regular posters on FR. Ted doesn't use them ? Please, he walks in and out of the Alinsky manual in every speech and has in every debate.

Does that, per chance, make you concerned about Ted surfing along on the wave of a personality cult ? When Ted hits the rough air he brings in Beck who is a part of that whole dominion cult rather than someone like Sessions. You want to talk about cults, read up on the gang Beck and Ted's dad are part of then get back to me.

Rather than being "concerned about FR" you need to get concerned about whether you even understand what digging deeply means and it sure doesn't mean digging for what supports your preconceptions and preferences rather than digging for facts.

have a wonderful day
