Billionaire was a zero in aftermath of terror attack
In the aftermath of the 2001 terror attack on the World Trade Center, Donald Trump, a billionaire son of New York City, did not make a single charitable donation to any of the not-for-profit groups that provided aid to survivors, rescue workers, or the families of cops and firemen who died trying to save others, Internal Revenue Service records show.
While business moguls raced to write seven-figure checks and schoolchildren emptied their piggy banks, Trumpâs charitable foundation--the vehicle through which the Republican presidential candidateâs philanthropy trickles--apparently did not feel the need or responsibility to offer such financial help.
Trump, who frequently reminds the public that he is worth TEN BILLION DOLLARS, is president of the Donald J. Trump Charitable Foundation, which the developer founded nearly 30 years ago. . . .

How nice. You would rather work for the Clinton/Bush kleptocracy.
The GOPe is crashing, the whole country is crashing, and no one sees any reason to change.

Not a Trump fan, but there are ways to help people without going through a charity organization, just as there are ways for an apparently false tweet about Trump to be posted on the internet by Glenn Beck (and others) without Ted Cruz being involved.
It’s one thing to present factual pros and cons on the candidates, it’s quite another to slash and burn with mere speculation and innuendo. We’re going to have to unite against Hillary or Bernie, because if we don’t, whether you’re a conservative or a Republican or even an anti-socialist/-communist independent, your vote is unlikely to mean anything on the national level ever again.

Either Ted Cruz is a original-intent Constitutionalist and therefore ineligible to be President or he is a living-document Constitutionalist and eligible to be President. It is one or the other, but it can't be both.
Oh Noes! Trump is done!

No, I don’t. But I fear that when his inner democrat comes out, some of the BS that he’s going to do to the rest of us isn’t going to be what any of you have been led to believe.

I will spell it out. TRUMP ONLY GIVES MONEY TO THOSE HE GETS PAYBACK FROM. How much money did the Central Park jogger give Trump? Consider your answer.
You are going to be revisiting your personal assertion.
Because you are going to find yourself called out for asserting that Trump helped her out and then demanded things from her in return.

Did YOU read the paragraphs above the caption you cited?Yes, I read the entire article. I also read the AP article which it linked. The examples cited in your post have nothing to do with 9/11.

The title of this thread is an outright lie stated as fact...... and should be removed by management immediately....or a correction made in parenthesis.
It reflects badly on this forum.
Can anybody make up their own lying titles and post them willy-nilly any time they feel like it?

No, the $500,000 from his own pocket addressed what he did for 9/11.
So what if he didn’t go through the foundation?
Your point was that there was no public record. That is what his response addressed.
I was showing the public record of what his foundation did in 1999-2013.
If Trump gave out of his pocket for 9/11 AND he took a tax deduction on his tax return that would not be a public record.

The thread title is in accordance with Free Republic rules. As for the veracity of the title statement, do you have any evidence at all that disproves it? No one has come forth with any to date. I am sincerely interested if such evidence exists.

Exactly. There are many stories but they will not come from Trump’s mouth. He is a good man and his living proves it. He gives of himself to people in need, doesn’t party by drinking, smoking, doing drugs....things that most hypocrites here do normally, and has beautiful children who aren’t hung up on drugs or other false gods. He is an excellent example of what we need in this country. How some could choose Cruz over him is beyond my ken.

I believe so too. It is astounding to see them go completely berserk. Most don’t have an ounce of sense or reason left. Only viciousness in their minds.

If Trump gave out of his pocket for 9/11 AND he took a tax deduction on his tax return that would not be a public record. So let's see the tax return. He was asked back in October if he would do so. That was three months ago.
Of course none of this would even be an issue if Trump hadn't been pimping the 9/11 tragedy for political gain.
