If Donald Trump wins the presidency and succeeds in doing what he says he will do he will be assured a position in history as one of our very greatest presidents.
10 years and running... she was a 35 year old when they married, and in her 20s when they were first getting serious. Now she’s nearly 46. Might be time to trade up for a newer, younger model.
What is this sore cruzerman night? LOL!
Conservative Principles.
Then again, maybe he’ll just settle for a new logo. Update the look, you know, like Jack in the Box did.
Bless your heart!
;-)
The Goody Cruz Shoes are out in force slopping muck all over the place and ripe with insults for all.
They are starting to look kind of funny. LOL
I almost hope Cruz wins Iowa as it looks like his only shot. After that its going to be all Trump all the time.
That’s a great response. I completely agree with you.
So very true.
When he says he's going to support ethanol subsidies because he's "for energy"? When he says he's going to come up with a "really terrific" free-market (ha ha) health care plan where everybody is taken care of and "the government is gonna pay for it"? When he says he's going to have such a good relationship with the military that "our heads will spin"?
You trust the same guy who only eight years ago had warm, effusive praise for Hillary Clinton, and her husband Bill, not to mention $100,000 or so in dough. Warm effusive praise, pax. He really liked Hillary a lot.
Two election cycles later, and here he is calling her so corrupt she shouldn't be allowed to run. He boasts as well about buying politicians and political influence -- he always played the game.
You trust this guy?
I say dump Trump.
You ought to win some kind of award for ironic tagline.
You need to get out more.
Hey, Finny.
I didn’t say I trust Trump.
If you read my original post, you’ll see that I’m actually skeptical of all of the candidates.

If Donald Trump wins the presidency and succeeds in doing what he says he will do he will be assured a position in history as one of our very greatest presidents.
I list a few things he says he'd do, two of them pretty bad and one of them just dumb, and you apparently think that if he succeeds he'll "be assured a position in history as one of our very greatest presidents" --
That doesn't sound exactly skeptical to me.
Thank you!
I hadn’t seen that.
Finny, when I posted that I didn’t know you existed so I had no idea which three negative Trump items you would list if you, in the future, were to respond to my post.
Trump is claiming in general that he can turn our country around. He says he’d limit immigration and end Obamacare. He says that he’ll defeat ISIS. I think that the president who can accomplish these things will be considered to be great by lots of Americans.
You don’t like his opinion on ethanol. I hadn’t seen that. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
You also don’t like his idea about having a national healthcare plan. I’m concerned about that, too, hence skepticism.
You dislike his plan to have a great relationship with the military. I disagree but am willing to listen if you’d like to explain why you think our commander-in-chief shouldn’t get along well with his military.
Thank you for your responses.
What many Trump supporters experience from Cruz supporters is religious bigotry, sneering, self-righteousness and snobbery. If anyone dares suggest that flacking one's Christianity to score votes is problematic in a pluralist society where every vote must count, out come the accusations that such questioners are unworthy of God's grace (like they are). It is really embarrassing for the Christian community to hang out its dirty hypocrisy this way. You'd think there were anointed non-sinners on this Forum, a theological impossibility.
Most of the FR Trump supporters would vote for Cruz if nominated, since we understand that a defeat for the Dem Party is a matter of life and death for the nation, period. The majority of the Cruz supporters posting here appear too pure and delicate to return the favor on behalf of the nation if Trump wins the nom.
Even the devil can quote scripture.
Pax, you are classy!
Leftists will be writing Trump’s history, so, no, he won’t be known as a guy who did anything good no matter how good he does.
Like Reagan who did a lot of good things for the country, leftists will erase Trump’s legacy.
Obama will be known as the only president who was a real Saint (because he is not white). His legacy will be totally invented. It will be an affirmative action legacy.
