Something Trump Can't Buy
me

If Donald Trump wins the presidency and succeeds in doing what he says he will do he will be assured a position in history as one of our very greatest presidents.

Federal powers have been clarified in the constitution. Including qualifications to become president. I understand very well the danger of any person who wants to change the constitution.

I had considered Cruz, of course, but not Sessions.

I’ll have to research Sessions.

Thank you!

The more I see comments like yours and the other Trump critics on this board, the more I realize that a lot of Conservatives don't really care about winning.

Trump is the candidate the GOP has been praying for for over 20 years.

Strong, tough, unafraid of the media or the Liberal establishment. Fighting back HARD against political correctness and charges of racism and sexism.....and turning the tables on the accusers!

Other candidates would have been destroyed by now. George Allen in Virginia was destroyed because he said "Ma Ca Ca" once while campaigning. He rolled over, apologized, tried to explain what the word meant, he was only kidding....etc etc etc. Lose Lose LOSE!

Trump doesn't do that weak sissy crap.

Trump is saying during his speeches that "I'll bomb the shit out of them!" My God, who would have thought we'd have a Republican candidate talking like that and not only getting away with it, but becoming MORE popular because of it?

He's a successful and strong leader that is wildly popular and is bringing back the old "Reagan Democrats," blacks, women, and moderates.

He's filling entire stadiums every week in Democrat states.

And it's STILL not good enough.

I think a lot of Conservatives will only be happy if Gary Bauer ran for President again. Sure, he's 1000% Conservative and 0% leadership ability. Completely unattractive as a candidate. Will let the media and Liberals completely steamroll him.

But he's a Bible thumpin' Conservative through and through, and that by golly is what we need! Yeah right.

Trump's a winner. The thing is, he's not doing anything magical or exotic or unusual. His beliefs and the things he says are what American men used to say openly all the time. The things Trump says I can imagine my dad saying.

That's what people like about Trump. He's a real American guy that doesn't take crap from weirdos. People can relate to him.

People can't relate to weird churchy sissies like Gary Bauer or Mike Huckabee.

People can't relate to cerebral debate squad nerds like Ted Cruz. I like Cruz, but he's not a real fighter like Trump. Trump would never say, "I challenge you to a debate!" Trump would say, "You're a weirdo, screw you!"

Gary Bauer, Pat Robertson, or Billy Graham aren't what the GOP or the country needs. Donald Trump is.

I think he (Trump) has a large group of friends and acquaintances that also see the very bad shape the country is in and will be more than willing to help in any way that they can.

This is one area where Trump has an advantage over Cruz. Trump has friends in high places. He couldn't have achieved all that he has achieved without competent help and advice and others looking out for him.

Cruz on the other hand is too young to have developed the sort of network that Trump has.

To borrow somewhat from Garth Brooks, Cruz has friends in no places.

You are quite welcome. I appreciate the honesty.

“That low rumble you hear is the Founding Fathers turning over in their graves.”

Obama has them TUMBLING in their graves with his EO’s. Like I’ve said before, we’re not going to win by playing nice with this bunch. It should be obvious now.

Also, Article 5 of the Constitution: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Article_Five_of_the_United_States_Constitution

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.[2]

“any person who wants to change the constitution.”

Cruz is not advocating “any person” changing the Constitution. He is advocating the State and the people clarify it to restrain federal tyranny.

Have you missed the last 8 years in which a single president and the activists courts have trashed the Constitution??

So you advocate Trump use EO’s to go around Congress to “fix” our Constitutional crisis according to his will rather than let the people get involved?? That IS tyranny! Are you an Obama supporter too?

I see an awful lot of anti-christian bigotry in Trump supporters. Your post is an example, as is the duchess.

So we need a constitutional amendment to defund Planned Parenthood? We need a constitutional amendment to reverse Obama’s EO’s? Why do we need any constitutional amendments?

We simply need to follow the laws we currently have.

Trump is not proposing EO’s to fix this country. Sorry, that’s Ted Cruz that is proposing that. Trump has stated very clearly, for all to hear, we are a country of laws.

I believe you all were upset with him when he said that regarding Kim Davis. I think Ted Cruz was the one advocating ignoring the laws or writing EO’s over that.

You are so busy reading or disseminating lies about Trump instead of actually paying attention to what he has actually said or written it’s no wonder that at this point you are confused.

Go to Convention of States dot com and see some proposed amendments and the reasoning behind them.

Read Mark Levin's book, "The Liberty Amendments" for more on the subject.

The laws we currently have, including the Constitution itself, are being misinterpreted by the federal courts. The only way to fix the problem is to re-establish federalism. The Constitution as originally written is being ignored and usurped by the left and their "living, breathing Constitution" scam.

Nothing anti Christian about it. A lot of the GOP base has become a bunch of wimpy girly sissy weirdo church ladies.

They are the ones that don't like Trump.

They're a bunch of weirdos that judge everything EVERYTHING, no matter how mundane, through the lens of scripture.

"Hmmm, what should I have for lunch today? Let me read a few passages of the Bible and pray on it."

It's weird and bizarre. I know people like this. Every conversation with them turns into a 20 minute sermon.

I'll sit there politely and listen for 20 minutes, then I make up and excuse to leave.

Most people don't live like that. Most Christians don't live like that.

That doesn't win elections.

Hard to believe you’ve missed them all. But:

Would fund the “good parts” of Planned Parenthood

Said he would “take care” of women (women’s health issues)

Supports the Patriot Act

Said we should take in Syrian refugees, then flipped

Won’t tear up the Iran deal.

Says he’ll deport illegals but wants to “expedite” bringing them back in.

Those are just some of his liberal values. There are more, but they keep coming and it’s hard to keep track.

“Trump is not proposing EO’s to fix this country. Sorry, that’s Ted Cruz that is proposing that.”

That is a BLATANT LIE!! Cruz has NEVER proposed using EO’s. In fact, he stated that he would NOT be a dictator and use EO’s. Trump and Trumpets are the ONLY ones saying that EO’s are okay in order to fix Obama’s mess.

“I think Ted Cruz was the one advocating”

You’re wrong again, but that is what you get for thinking. Cruz did not advocate EO’s for that situation, but he did advocate Congress pass a law to change it or the State pass a law (which they did do) to take Davis’s name off of the license.

“he has actually said or written it’s no wonder that at this point you are confused.”

Only Trumpets are stupid enough to believe what Trump says now after he changed EVERY one of his policy positions during the last 2 years. Trump was a registered democrat until 2014 and wrote in his book that he is for an “assault” gun ban. Did you miss that too, I guess??

You’re one of the few Trumpets on FR that is constantly posting lies about Cruz, while hiding the truth about Trump.
