Explanation: Big, beautiful, barred spiral galaxy NGC 1300 lies some 70 million light-years away on the banks of the constellation Eridanus. This Hubble Space Telescope composite view of the gorgeous island universe is one of the largest Hubble images ever made of a complete galaxy. NGC 1300 spans over 100,000 light-years and the Hubble image reveals striking details of the galaxy's dominant central bar and majestic spiral arms. In fact, on close inspection the nucleus of this classic barred spiral itself shows a remarkable region of spiral structure about 3,000 light-years across. Like other spiral galaxies, including our own Milky Way, NGC 1300 is thought to have a supermassive central black hole.

Gorgeous!
Hard to believe that God, His Son and the Holy Spirit love us and we are made to His image and likeness.
Wow! That is definitely going in my Endless screensaver rotation.
Katie bar the galaxy..
GAMMA STREAMS:
A universal stream is the designator used by the Transcendent Technomorphs to describe a single universe/dimension/reality within the Multiverse. The TransTech have cataloged 15,962,782 universal streams (over 1,176,325 of which have "come to termination"), grouping related universes into what are known as universal clusters and devising a classification system used to give each individual stream an alphanumeric designation.

I've read it three times and my eyes won't uncross.
One thing I've always wondered — why are so many deep space images in color? When I look up in the sky all I see is white or black.
Are there any websites that explain how these colors come about? Thanks.
Thank you for the post and ping, Mr. Civilizations.
Interesting to see what it looked like 70 million years ago.
I wonder what it looks like today. In any case, it is an image fit
to be a car marque. It looks a lot like our Impalas’ marques (we
have two Black 1996 Impala SSs). They’re tanks. I don’t see
their wearing out anytime soon.
Nice!
Wish you could see the framed photos that came with the cars.
Bryan (hubby) has one in his office at work. The caption reads,
“Lord Vader, your car is ready.”
We have at least seven framed pictures of the car. Fans call it
“Orca, the Killer Whale.” They’re 20 years old, but they both are
able to s*** and git. We love them. I have a tiny orca hanging
from my rear-view mirror.
