He’s certainly a different kind of Christian than those I know.
All those things are great, for PRIVATE charities.
Used to be in the old world you took care of your elders.
I’m of Italian descent, and while four out of five of us contribute to mother monthly, (can you believe the lawyer’s broke?), it is only about a third of her income, with her pension and SS.
But it’s an important third.
However, two generations ago, everyone lived in the same four story Brooklyn house. Everyone was there for each other in their time of need.
Asians take care of their elderly pretty well still.

It was a weird interview/pronouncement. You could tell that he was just mouthing the words as rote. His heart wasn't in it, and he didn't believe what he was saying.
But he had to get it out there for the contingent of his followers who claim to be Christians, to feel comforted for voting for an anti-Christ.

He calls himself a Christian, yet misses the whole point of Jesus coming to Earth. He came to die as the only perfect sacrifice possible, to die once, for all who would believe in Him.
