I put the pro in procrastination but a tiny bit of purchasing throughout the year means that there AIN'T NO WAY I'm waiting in any line for this mess. Throw in a few screaming kids - oh, my. Someone needs to have a special store for everyone who is done.

I’m done. I just got the last shipment of stuff I ordered online including Mr. GG2’s new Missouri Meerscham corn cob pipe and two packs of tobacco he loves. Plus a leather cover for his Fire HD8 and a Bass Pro gift card. Santa is being very very good to Mr. GG2 this year. :-)

I started and finished mine two days ago. It was a $20 burn barrel and giving everyone else homemade jelly. Outside that, the economy won’t have any help from this direction.

We the people would be a lot smarter to lessen our infatuation with shopping for Christmas and indebtedness for Chinese made products, and instead save more for retirement and education of our kids. The former just dumbs us down and ultimately makes our country poorer.

Walking my dog around my neighborhood today, I saw FedEx trucks and UPS trucks everywhere. This is Sunday! But a lot of stuff getting delivered on the last Sunday before Christmas.

I started sewing in October and finished just last week. It was a labor of love, but no one will ever mistake my stuff for store bought.

There aren't any lines to wait in. My prediction is that retailers will be lamenting a weak Christmas sales period when all is said and done.

Amazon.com- The best thing to happen for Christmas shopping since the Sears catalogue. No traffic. No crowds. No lines. The packages come to you and, for a nominal fee, can be gift wrapped in advance.

Pass the eggnog.

Doesn’t take that long to go to the grocery store and pick up a half dozen or so gift cards. Earns me gas points, too.

It’s Sunday and I have yet to shop for Christmas.......key for me is I no longer ask what people want. After all it’s NOT THEIR Birthday. I’ll start probably Wed. Spend some time poking around at the Mall...and get it all done in a couple hours.

I HATE shopping! But love Antigue Shops, Thrift Stores, and on Occassion Flea Markets....which isn’t shopping...it’s a treasure hunt!LOL....

I had to go to the grocery store the other day.

So help me, next time I either do curbside pick-up or do without.

My wife and I still have some. Let me tell you. These kids change their minds on “what they want” even 10 minutes. Seriously what was “awesome” in June no longer is interesting for them. I could NEVER buy through the year as it would be a terrible christmas with Santa being a doofus getting “old” stuff that they no longer want. And the gifts have to match the Santa Letter too. What if you buy everything and then that letter doesn’t match? There goes christmas for the kids and probably ruin their lives forever.......lesser things have happened to make kids feel like they have crappy lives. lol.

We don’t bother with it. A great dinner and lots of company. No gifts. It’s a terrific bother and frankly no one needs anything that they can’t themselves.
