This video is one in a series of videos and websites which are being posted on FreeRepublic in the coming days in regard to nutritional health. In the beginning these videos were being posted as a rebuttal to an article and comments in another posted article on FreeRepublic remarking on obesity. Due to the strong interest in obesity and nutritional health as it relates to Type II Diabetes, the videos relating to Type II diabetes and how to reverse the progression of the disease are being moved forward among the other video topics in this series. Expect to see a mixture of videos regarding the role of carbohydrates in the diet and their relationship to nutritional health topics ranging from metabolic syndrome and Diabetes to dementia, Parkinson's Disease, Altzheimer's Disease, and more. The effects of standard government sponsored diets, health association diets, and alternative diets upon everyday nutrition, sports nutrition, and diabetic nutrition will be mixed in with videos focused on the use of various low carbohydrate and high fat (LCHF) diets, such as the ketogenic diets as a treatment for Type II Diabetes.

Judge Napolitano lost weight by giving up wheat based products. He recommended a book called Wheat Belly.
If you have a ping list for natural and/or holistic medicine, could you please put me on it?
Yes, put me on this ping list. Thanks
I have Type 2. I was diagnosed about 15 years ago and had a hard time keeping my sugar level down. Then I lost over 80 pounds and cut back on the carbs. I am no longer on medication but still have a problem with sugar levels, I canât keep them up! Iâve passed out several times because of low blood sugar. I used to limit carbs to under 40 grams per meal, now I try to have at least 80 grams per meal and eat candy between meals.
If you have a ping list for natural and/or holistic medicine, could you please put me on it? me too
I want to be PING Please =)
A tale of two friends who thought they were both being lied to about diabetes. Oh yeah. Not chronic and progressive.
1. Mark Miller. Famous Los Angeles Radio DJ. Look him up on Facebook, he’s there. Dead now with no relatives. I’ll use his name. Convinced it was all a big lie. First loses erections. Then has small stroke. Survives another year. Then has large stroke. Loses use of one arm, one leg on same side. Loses most of his ability to speak. Then has another stroke. Looses his kidney function. And his ability to understand a single word spoken. Then Lives in a 2year twilight world of pain and laying in a rehab bed breathing— just breathing.
2. 2nd name withheld, he has a widow. Looses feet. Then full loss of both eyes. Then major strokes with the last killing him.
Both thought they had a better way. Their doctors were in on the conspiracy just racking up patients for big pharma. I argued and pleaded with them to follow their doctors medical advice.
Ignore your doctor. See how well that works out for you. Don’t buy their suggested products. Buy the guy’s above.
It's a lot of work, and takes discipline. I have a spreadsheet for every day since Jan of this year.
I find that people don't want to talk about it when the work involved is exposed.
A lot of those that say they count calories don't really. It's amazing how well people can lie to themselves.

We need to give up enriched, bleached, bromated wheat. Organic unenriched wheat can be healthy. But mostly if you source your own wheat and make stuff yourself.
Diabetic
I didn't go to school for years like the MDs did.
And I darn sure wouldn't do it to run a scam. There are easier scams out there to run.
I see a lot of the same BS dealing with cancer.
I'll listen to the doctors that have spent so much time studying, and have so little incentive to cheat.

1. Cut back on total calories. 2. Eat more vegetables, they replace higher calorie foods which helps with #1. 3. Get moving, if you burn a calorie for every calorie you cut, you lose weight faster and exercise also directly affects sugar metabolism independent of weight.
Most docs would prefer you do 1,2 and 3 and not prescribe medication. Most people won’t do 1,2 and 3 and want a pill instead.
That has been my experience.
Doctors have great incentive to cheat. If people were well they would lose business. In 37 years of nursing I have seen lots. Seems since Americans went to overeating all the bleached flour, sugar products they have gotten ever fatter.
