“More like Clinton cutting back on every agency and too busy chasing women.”

And not blowing Bin Laden away when he had the chance. 9/11 is directly attributed to Bill Clinton. If he had never been elected president it would have never happened.

Trump just tweeted Jeb again: Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump 3m3 minutes ago No @JebBush, you’re pathetic for saying nothing happened during your brother’s term when the World Trade Center was attacked and came down.

Rubio telegraphed the point of this line of audience conditioning ...

These are extraordinarily dangerous times that we live in. And the next president of the United States better be someone that understands these issues and has good judgment about them because the number one issue that a president will ever confront, and the most important obligation that the federal government has, is to keep this nation safe. ...

But the one thing that the federal government must do, the one thing that only the federal government can do is keep us safe. And a president better be up-to-date on those issues on his first day in office, on her first day in office.

And then, the government opens the gate to let the barbarians enter.

Massive disconnect going on there, and all of it designed to centralize power and encroach on personal freedom. Government cannot make us safe without some sort of sacrifice, so government act to make us unsafe, to justify more government.

Trump is an aggressive fighter and he’s determined to provoke as many enemies as he can that he thinks he can still “beat,” in the court of public opinion in this case. It’s not wise to nominate such a person for president. This guy is determined to start fights that we could easily avoid and do not need to waste time fighting.

How about an example? If I said “Trump obviously maintains a ridiculous combover and chases young bottle blonde bimbos because he has immaturity issues”, that would both be true, and also a low blow.

Nice try.

That might be considered a low blow (a very weak one) but it is not a verifiable fact.

That George W. was president when the towers fell IS a verifiable fact.

Next?

"The one huge objection I had was that W rushed all the Saudi families out of the USA:"

I don't know about all the Saudi families, but he did rush all the bin laden family members out.

Nasty spin on the comment. Of course W kept the Bush family and their relationships with the Saudis safe.

Trump is wrong on this one.

You mean Bush wasn't President when 9/11 happened?

Trump is not blaming President Bush for the attack.

No but that's how it's being portrayed in the media.

Bush 1 was no domestic genious but a very good foreign policy president.

Clinton was one of the Worst foreign policy presidents.

You are correct.

Almost all of the 911 maniacs were in the US illegally. One would've thought the logical consequence would've been to get those in the US illegally out of the country, and keep them out. Would we be safer today if that had been the direction taken? I suspect so.

Instead, GWB gave us a "war on terror" that never ends.

Ya but, about 2 to 3 months into his first term, George dropped bombs on Iraq. It was something allowed, but something Clinton hadn’t done in quite a while. It was like to announce there was a new boss in town. I always thought he threw a rock at a hornets nest.

Good. I’ve had enough of these “Marquis Of Queensbury Rules Only” Republican types - and the younger set have no patience for them either.

Oh, so going to war, and not taking out the guy who started the war, thus forcing us to go back in years later was good foreign policy?

No Jeb gets a demerit. He claimed something that was not entirely true. The Homeland was attacked on his brother’s watch and close to 3000 Americans died on American soil as the result of a coordinated attack by a foreign enemy. Just the same as when Pearl Harbor was attacked on FDR’s watch. Truth is truth. Jeb’s statement was not true, Trump’s was.

not taking out a 2 cent dictator who crushed any possible shia and sunni uprising was brilliant.

taking a two cent dictator out and destroying the middle east for decades was dumb.

or haven’t you noticed that in every middle eastern country where the dictator fell, muslim mayhem broke out.

or maybe you have kept up with the headlines
